They might be trying new things and ideas. Especially now that Lucas and Spielberg aren’t as in charge as they once were.

With Sallah and Marion (heavily rumored) to be coming back, who are some other Indy alumni who could come back? Short Round, Dean Charles Stanforth, and just maybe Mutt Williams are my guesses, especially if this is a finale for Harrison Ford’s storyline.
Marion I have no objection to because she's his wife and is part of his daily life, she should appear at some point.
I liked Crystal Skull (a lot) more than most people did, but one weak point was thinking 'Oh, that guy was probably gonna be...' more than once.
I would have no problem with a Mutt cameo, but the chances of that happening are slim to none. I think Shia has burned enough bridges with the Indy team that you'll never see him again. And there's no reason why he has to be there. His character will be a grown man who can be off doing anything. Personally, I think it would be weirder not to see Marion, at least for one scene, considering Indy is married to her and lives with her.
More rumors. I call major bs on one of them. The others are possible or more or less confirmed.
It can be, trailer music for SP and NTTD was 👌🏻
It regards a dead villain’s comeback, after they truly died. Trying not to spoil it for anyone who doesn’t want it spoiled.
I won't bother with the Indiana Jones trailer. I'll just save the excitement for the theater. On the other hand, I won't take an absolute anti-spoilers stance like I did with NTTD, which was a bit of an exception on my part. I won't go out looking for info on the story of the movie, but won't go out of my way to avoid it either.
Thanks! Getting really excited for this film, now.
Please let me know if I can see it too.
So, maybe.
