I'd be surprised if "Quest" isn't in the title at this point, considering its prominence in all the materials so far.

Just a hunch, but it hasn't been in any of the titles so far and it fits Indiana Jones nicely.

INDIANA JONES AND THE QUEST FOR PEACE.

Haha, I had the same idea. Jon Cryer should be in the film.

Well I made the image! But it's from a well-trusted source on another forum. Doesn't mean it's official, but stands a decent chance of being correct. We'll see I guess.

It will probably look more like this :)

Every Indiana Jones title has been absolutely perfect so far. Just need to get it right one last time!

Confirmed: Indy will be de-aged for the opening of the movie. In 1944, not long after Army of the Dead (2009). More to come Thursday!

But wait, does that mean that the novels are canon?

That is what Gestapo wore, so it's not massively surprising.
  • Don’t think the round glasses and fedora were standard issue. And, even if he’s not Toht due to time travel shenanigans or it *were* gestapo standard issue, it’s a bit irksome to me that they’re giving him the exacts same costume to clearly recall Toht.

I mean, look at the guy standing behind Toht! :)
  • Let's make it clear. MM is not playing Toht.
Plus Dial of Destiny is a catchy title.

This has been the subject of speculation. Could it be considered , or contain, a type of dial?

It all looks so good even from just those images. I'm really intrigued by Shaunette Renée Wilson's character.

I dunno, a large part of the novels was Indy pursuing crystal skulls, but he didn't seem very bothered by them in the last film.

I never read army of the dead but a lot of them work

    Indy finding the last dinosaur
    Indy finding Noah’s ark
    Etc
    And they work within continuity

I haven't made it through any of them to the end, but I like the idea of the dinosaur one, certainly.

No one said that MM is Toht. He plays a german named Voller, allegedly inspired by Werner von Braun.

Actually they didn't in general. They were not authorised a uniform. The stereotypical Gestapo officer wearing a black trench coat is a trope that you see in a lot of american made movies. Gestapo in german means "secret state police", and having a uniform that stands out that way isn't really the best way to go about your way in a secret manner, is it? Their standard mode of dress was a normal business suit to blend in.

A nonsensical article came out recently @Zekidk that claimed that the film includes the reveal that Mikkelsen is Toht and that Waller-Bridge's character becomes the "new Indiana Jones" after Indiana Jones sacrifices himself or some rubbish.

I think as Indy is being more domesticated, and at home, I think that confirms that Marion will be back. They kept it a secret last time, history might be repeating itself.

I see the “ Dial of Destiny “ starting to pop up on other boards.
