Raiders and Crusade are just about neck and neck for my favorite, bit if forced to pick I would also go with Crusade . As you said, the Connery/Ford relationship is incredible and I also think the film has an elegance that separates it from the pack. The locations are wonderful. “Ah Venice”
Both of you are right on the mark. Connery is so great and having so much fun in the movie.
As far as I know he's worked with Connery, Craig and now Dalton. Interestingly enough they've al been period pieces.
I disagree. There is no punctuation at all in any of the titles, whether a period, a semi-colon, or anything else.
Even awesome, real-life stunts can’t redeem inherently silly situations.
Well, you know, two birds, one stone. They wanted to get somewhere, in a hurry, and figured they could just squash this interfering fellow against a stone wall.
Right on, man!
Michael Caine
Connery – The Man Who Would Be King
Brosnan – The Fourth Protocol
Moore – Bullseye
What about actresses? That pool is probably shallower.
The only actor? I'd say that Bernard Lee and Desmond Llewelyn and Lois Maxwell all worked with three, and Desmond even four. But I suppose you mean outside the Bond realm.
I can't recall who he specifically shared the screen with in Game of Thrones but a lot of Bond alumni were in that over the years.
Julian Glover, Connery (Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade), Moore (FYEO), Dalton (Wuthering Heights), Brosnan (The Fourth Protocol). - 4
I do love Last Crusade for all the reasons you state. It's just behind Raiders for me. Two absolute classics. Hoping Destiny is in the same league.
Yes, most notably Tracy herself...showing us what she may have looked like years later had Irma Bunt not shot her.
Perhaps an old-school phone could be sold, using a dial of destiny.
As you can tell, I find the new title quite a step down from the earlier ones. May as well be IJ and the Thing of Whatever...IJ and the Object of Interest...IJ and the We're not interested enough to make the effort to come up with a title despite DECADES of IJ stories having come and gone. Hopefully, the rest of the writing will surpass the writing of a title.
I would watch the hell out of a Short Round spinoff movie. I don't care what anyone says; Shorty is one of my favorite characters in the series.
Fair enough. We are getting Sallah for sure, that’s nice.
Is it? Did they announce that?
I guess once there’s a change in regime we’ll see.
I also don’t think that Disney will retire the Indians Jones brand, although to my be given a long rest.
I'm sure all things will become clear, but Wheel of Fortune keeps coming to mind.
