Yeah I think you may be right, they do seem to have been shooting it for a while and it looks like lots of different things happen in it.

This is shaping up to be quite the action sequence. I wonder if this will be the big "main" action set piece of the film.
That's the beauty of the Indy-movies. Unlike the recent Bond movies, there aren't any single "main" action setpiece. There are usually 3-4 huge ones spread out across the movie. I wish they went back to the same practice for Bond-movies.

Hmm. I see your point in that there are more action sequences in general in an Indy movie, but I do think each film has its own THIS IS THE ONE setpiece: Raiders with the truck chase; ToD with the mine car chase; TLC with the tank chase; and KotCS with the jungle chase. That's what I was referring to here - I was sort of wondering out loud whether this was an action setpiece or THE action setpiece.

Yeah the sort of end of Act 2 (I think..?) big action setpiece that the Brosnan Bond films in particular swore by (tank chase/bike chase/caviar factory/car battle).

The iconic setpiece is escaping from the crypt and running from the boulder. That's THE ONE many would say.
    TLC with the tank chase

Or the plane chase, speedboat chase in Venice etc.

Hard to tell. The New York chase filmed in Glasgow had plenty more extras and props. And those two are both exterior setpieces. We have no idea what goes on inside the studio lot. They built a huge nazi train station there. I reckon we have another setpiece right there.

I would assume the Glasgow/NYC street chase bit is reasonably early in the film just because it looks like Indy's on his home turf and usually these films involve him travelling away from the US in at least the first third or so.

A long shot, but this article thinks that this might be the film’s title.

That would be a pretty lame title. 🥱

If that turns out to be the title, I will eat my shoe. I'll even film it, like Werner Herzog.

Lame does not even BEGIN to describe how pathetic would be that as a title !

I think THE INDY would have been far more current and trendy today.

Pretentious and unlikable route to go IMO, like calling any James Bond film “Bond.” Dislike it strongly. Both of those series are supposed to be more creative and entertaining than that.
