Dr. No : the Tarentula Scene. Smashed one note at a time. It's supposed to be all serious and dramatic, but it never fails to make the audience laugh.

Live and Let Die - Bond trying to hide the woman he was sleeping with when M arrives. M is obviously aware of Bond's behavior with women so why would he go through that trouble trying to hide her? M was probably used to that by now.

YOLT - Sean Connery's all too visible family jewels during the bath scene, how that got beyond the censors of the time baffles me.

DAF - "My name is Bond, James Bond" *clearly bored out his mind face expression*

The funniest unintential moment to me is in QoS, when Bond surprises Yusef and Corrine in their apartment. And he says something like, "That's a lovely necklace. Did he give it to you? *I* have one just like it."
It didn't hit me at first, but on multiple viewings I keep picturing what the hell Corrine must have been thinking before he says "It was given to a friend of mine". I mean, it's a wonderful, powerful scene, but once I think of that and it cuts to a shot of Corrine's face I just CAN'T take it seriously.

    Here's my top five:

    5) Mr. Big's death in Live and Let Die. I don't think they were going for humour there.

    4) The explosion of the cradle control room in GoldenEye. The cheap, stock, Looney Tunes explosion sound coupled with the overacting of some of the workers when they get blown up gets me laughing every time.

    3) When Bond disables Largo's henchman in the hotel room in Thunderball and orders him to get out of the room. "NOWMOVE!"

    2) At 3:32 in this video, courtesy of Diamonds Are Forever...

    1) And, without a doubt, unquestionably, and not up for debate, the most hilarious moment in the history of the Bond films, courtesy of The Spy Who Loved Me...

I never picked up on this one as a kid because I hadn't watched Lawrence of Arabia until I was about eleven or twelve. I remember my mom was flipping through channels once after, and TSWLM was on at this scene, and as she passed it I went "WAIT MOM GO BACK, THAT WAS LAWRENCE OF ARABIA!"

EDIT: Videos aren't showing up. Not sure what I did wrong.

Anybody seen the man in Pussfeller's bar dancing like he's having some sort of a fit to "Jump up"? Seriously, watch it when Pussfeller is walking around the bar smiling, and he passes this man. He violently shakes his head, and his arms are flailing. Bizarre.

In the LALD boat chase, a bride and groom get their wedding cake demolished by the henchman's boat. As the bride cries on the groom's shoulder, I can't tell whether he is about to frown or burst out laughing.

  • Disclaimer I have not read through the whole thread so if this has already been mentioned, my bad,.

But the bit in YOLT where Bond requests his cigarettes at the lair just after the attack starts and Blofeld's cat starts freaking out always made me laugh out loud.

I know I've put it elsewhere, but as soon as Bond rolls out of the facility during the PTS of GE, we get a shot of the plane cruising off with Bond in the background, kneeling. However, it's an obvious stunt double with a huge grin on his face, and it gets me laughing every time.

Sounds hilarious! Might stick Goldeneye on this afternoon and try and spot it!

The scene where Moore first meets Scarpine and after he delivers his line then Bauchau playing Scarpine "Oh by the way..." Moore looks like he's just waiting for Bauchau to say this line before he can deliver his next line. Kinda tacky and something experienced actors try to avoid. Check it out. This scene always bothered me.

Same film, during that cheesy and funny fight at Stacy's house between Bond and the goons: Stacy hits one goon over the head with the vase that has her grandpa's ashes but we see no ashes on the guys's shoulders, head or the floor. What happened to the ashes? Maybe Glen thought it was kinda morbid? You tell me.

    DAD
The robo cop suit and the slo-mo.
Halle Berry wearing camos and running with Pierce behind the plane. She just looks riduculous. (Many of Halle's scene are meant to be serous but come off as hilarious. Even when she flips over on her hands during the fight with Miranda.)

Not so much funny, but the face Natalya pulls when running through the Severnaya facility in slow motion you'd swear its someone else ,followed by the 20ft dive to "safety" under the stairs only to immediately run back out after a explosion.

YES! I noticed this a good while ago, and every time I watch Dr. No, I always make sure to keep an eye on that guy during the club scene. He's a riot!

Racism! They cannot help themselves. They are so rhythmical you know?

So funny about DAD is that they were trying to make it so serious and it comes off as just funny thru and thru.
Halle was meant to be a top notch modern liberated "new Bond girl"
Moon/Graves with the gene therapy was supposed to be taken serious.
The diamonds in Rick Yune's face was supposed to make him more menacing....
Mr. Kil was supposed to strike terror in our hearts like Odd Job or Jaws from TSWLM....

Something I noticed a while back- not in the films- but in the photo poses for GE:

Is it just me, or does Brosnan's PPK silencer look bent in these images? Have a good hard look. Perhaps it's just an illusion- but either way, it has always amused me :)

The bird on the yacht in the TLD PTS with the terrible dubbed accent, who complains that nothing interesting ever happens... despite the jeep which just fell off a cliff and exploded in mid-air right next to her.

In GoldenEye when Bond opens the wardrobe and the dead Admiral falls out. It should be quite disturbing, but his stare makes me chuckle every time..."Xenia! I...can't...breath!".

The fight between Stamper and Bond at the end of TND - mainly because the bloke who plays Stamper mugs like mad. In comparison Brosnan's "pain face" isn't as bad.

    "Oh NEINN"
    "For Carver YAH...and Kaulfman...YAH!!!

I remember I enjoyed that fight when I was younger but now it is pretty silly.

In FRWL, just watch the 'Yuri Gagarin' character as the bomb goes off - hilarious! Obviously chosen for his resemblance than his acting skill.

A View to a Kill - Bond leaps off a bridge onto a boat, where a spectacular wedding cake breaks his fall! An obvious lifeless dummy (filling in for Roger Moore's stuntman who probably had a hangover that day) makes the plunge, regrettably missing most of the cake, and in the next shot Moore pops up without a drop of icing on him!

A lot of the product placement stuff in Casino Royale but most especially the '' Is that a rolex? '' line in the middle of Bonds first meeting with Vesper.

Quantum Of Solace. The POLICE SQUAD! style freeze frame on Craig just before the title credits begin.

Skyfall.Bond looking absolutely ridicluous in the airport scene when he is waitng for Patrice. The hat.The shades. The beard!

Every time Craig runs in his movies. It so funny to me because it always reminds me of C-3P0 in Star Wars.

Bond's 'now I'm really pissed off' moment after the DB7 gets blown up in Skyfall. I think the music is what pushed it over the edge into chuckle territory.
