The man is a legend.
What about Nikki van Der Zyl and Michael Collins? They dubbed about half the cast of the 60s films.
I'm also pretty sure that David De Keyser who played Dr Tynan dubbed someone in one of the early films. Or is listing dubbing artists getting a bit anal? That said I would contend that Collins is as much to thank for Goldfingers characterisation as Frobe.
Was Anthony Dawson on the list?
Sorry Rabin there is only one true legend and I can't believe no ones mentioned him yet.
It's only the bloody Herg himself Ed Bishop in YOLT as 'Hawaii to Jupiter 16' man and then in the seminal part of Klaus Hergesheimer in DAF.
Also Dianne Hartford looks stunning in that picture from TB.
When? In the macau casino? What part of the scene?
I saw him talking to someone else when Bond leaves the hotel, he is quite visible.
What I mean is, I don't remember the actor being quite so large as before in Royale from that ?
Are we sure that's not Mark Henry making a cameo ; - )
Hey, I came across this thread in a Google search, the long haired East Asian guy that you see in the Macau Casino (for 1 sec) scene is not played by Tom So (Mr Fukutu) but me Clem So. Yes I am Tom's brother, so you never know, I could be Mr Fukutu's brother at the Floating Dragon :), either way, it makes for a great Bond trivia question.
Me and Tom, did actually work together once in Being Human Series 4, episode 1 Eve of the War.

All the best, Clem
It's great to have you here!! Did the producers call you because they knew your brother??
Actually, i went through my casting agent and they were worried about putting me forward for Skyfall because of my connection to Tom. I suppose they were concerned that viewers might mistake me for Mr Fukutu :) ha ha whoops. Would be awesome though if they used me and my brother again as the Fukutu brothers in Bond 24. Think we might make an interesting pair of villains. We need a campaign :)
Thanks for the answer!
I agree with you. I would love to see the Fukutu Brothers... perhaps in Bond 25? :-? :D
She played an Octopussy girl. She's sprinkled through several scenes.
And then was bumped up to full-on Bond girl, as Kimberley Jones, the Mi6 ice-flow girl in AVTAK.

You never know. Ben Whishaw is only 34. If he goes on as Q for to a similar age Desmond did and we assume a 3 years gap per film he would reach his 17th Bond film in 48 years aged 82. Could he manage one more at the age of 85 to steal Desmond's crown?
Although of course MGW could have set the bar at around 20 by then.
That is so cool @Clem_So. I would love that idea. Fukutu brothers as henchmen! I am grinning just thinking about it. Thanks for sharing the story Clem.
This needs to happen.
Are you really sure about this?
You clearly missed out on this thread:
