Wouldn't Bond have met Moneypenny one night when both were out and about, hooked up on a one-night stand, then both had to rush to a meeting the next morning and...it turns out they're both meeting at MI6 and now will be working together ? Hmm...too cute, cliche and been done, eh ? Well, at least I did not suggest it for Bond and some other character who would be at the office.
I never thought of Bond and M having that kind of relationship, but maybe you're on to something...

Was this after an interesting experience they shared together in Tokyo by any chance?

Great premise for a future Bond film... perhaps not an official EON production though.

Just had a thought for the Brosnan Era,

Just a what if: since they're all in one arc, would it make sense if all of his villains (except Elektra) were just in one organization like in the books or in the early films?

They're a part of an organization or a syndicate, now Bond has to defeat them one by one, except for its leader.

Alec Trevelyan being some sort of Dr. No or Le Chiffre (the first member of the organization being killed by Bond).

Then, Elliot Carver (similar to Largo of SPECTRE or Mr. BIG of SMERSH) also a member of an evil organization, the second member to be beaten by Bond.

Elektra King would still be a standalone villain, except for Renard (he's also a member of this organization, but a bit lower, like Fiona Volpe).

Then, have Bond Gustav Graves (the Organization's Rosa Klebb like member, he's certainly the number 2, the second to the leader of the Organization).

Then, of course the leader would never be encountered by Bond and not be seen like General G in the books (being the head of SMERSH, but Bond never encountered him).

I frankensteined several Bond films into one, perfect, quintessential Bond film.

Plot: Lyutsifer Stromdrax, a former KGB agent turned mad industrialist who has metal teeth, a facial scar and webbed hands, and who is part of a secret criminal organization, plans to launch a deadly nanobot attack on Earth from his secret space station, obliterating the human race. He kidnaps James Bond, presumably retired from active duty, along with his wife Tracesperine, to force them to have a child that will mark the beginning of a new, physically and intellectually perfect breed of humans, which will repopulate Earth. What Stromdrax ignores is that Bond was already aware of his plan, and has been secretly reinstated into MI6, despite tension between him and M. He is later forced to go rogue when he disagrees with MI6's strategy to stop Stromdrax and his nefarious plan, and ends up blowing up the space station, along with Stromdrax and himself, in a noble sacrifice for the sake of humankind.

    James Bond (The Persuaders! edition):

    Year: 1975

    James Bond: Roger Moore
    Felix Leiter: Tony Curtis
    M: Laurence Naismith
    Moneypenny: Lois Maxwell
    Q: Desmond Llewellyn

    Main Bond Girl:
Cyd Hayman (she appeared in Anyone Can Play episode 8)
Prunella Ransome (appeared in Ozerov Inheritance episode 22)

    Bond Girl (Villainess):
Imogen Hassall (appeared in Overture episode 1)

Main Villain: James Mason (head of SMERSH)

    Plot:
Bond would team up with Felix Leiter (played by Tony Curtis) in this mission, SMERSH was manipulating seven countries to come in a territorial dispute, since one of the UNCLOS Judge who's in charge with the case was killed by a SMERSH* agent, (played by Imogen Hassall), in order to mess up with the case.

Now what SMERSH wanted was to create a rivalry between those seven countries that would led to a war, with SMERSH benefitting from it since they could smuggle and sell weapons to these countries and would earn them big money, and at the end would use that money to build their own army and when the war is over, SMERSH would beat the seven countries for the reclamation of the disputed territory.

Here's how i would do the next James Bond film saga:

    - Make Bond charismatic and stylish as Connery, and when needed, brute and ruthless as Dalton.
    - More grounded stories that don't rely much on action and take more advantage on the suspense ala From Russia With Love.
    - Grounded and realistic gadgets like the From Russia With Love briefcase.
    - Leave the AM DB5 behind, as much at it hurts to do so.
    - More organic relationships between Bond and the Bond girl ala The Living Daylights.
    - No more personal backstories.
    - There still is continuity between films, abeit more loose.

I asked the AI ChatGPT to create a James Bond miniseries. This is it came up with:
    Bond Evolution: Decades Apart

Episode 1: Shadows of the Past
Set in the year 1963, a decade after James Bond's first mission as a British secret agent, "Shadows of the Past" finds Bond (played by a young actor with a suave demeanor) investigating a mysterious organization known as Spectra. Bond's mission takes him from the glamorous casinos of Monte Carlo to the treacherous mountains of Switzerland. Along the way, he encounters a seductive double agent and uncovers a plot to destabilize global governments. As Bond battles his way through deadly encounters, he begins to realize the far-reaching influence of Spectra, setting the stage for a long-standing conflict.

    Episode 2: Vengeance Rising
The story fast-forwards to 1973, a decade after Bond's initial encounter with Spectra. Bond (now portrayed by a seasoned actor with a touch of rugged charm) finds himself embroiled in a high-stakes game of espionage as he tracks a rogue former agent who seeks revenge against the British intelligence agency. Bond's journey takes him to exotic locations like Bangkok and Rio de Janeiro, where he must face deadly assassins and navigate a web of political intrigue. Along the way, Bond discovers a shocking connection between the vengeful agent and an old nemesis, leading to a climactic showdown that tests his loyalty and resolve.

    Episode 3: Echoes of Betrayal
The year is now 1983, and Bond (played by a charismatic actor with a hint of world-weariness) is assigned to investigate a series of high-profile assassinations targeting influential figures in the global intelligence community. As Bond delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a startling revelation: a mole within MI6 is leaking classified information to an unknown adversary. Bond's pursuit of the truth takes him across Europe, from Berlin to Paris, as he faces off against deadly double agents and navigates a world where loyalties are constantly shifting. In a race against time, Bond must expose the traitor before they can cause irreparable damage.

    Episode 4: Resurgence
In the year 1993, a decade after his previous mission, Bond (portrayed by a seasoned actor with a mix of gravitas and charm) is called out of retirement to investigate a global criminal syndicate that threatens to plunge the world into chaos. Bond's mission takes him from the bustling streets of Hong Kong to the opulent palaces of Dubai. Along the way, he encounters a formidable assassin who shares a personal connection with his past, leading to a deadly game of cat and mouse. As Bond uncovers the syndicate's grand plan, he must confront his own demons and make a choice that could change the course of his life forever.

    Episode 5: Legacy Unleashed
The year is now 2003, and Bond (played by a mature actor with a commanding presence) finds himself facing his most dangerous adversary yet - a brilliant mastermind who seeks to reshape the world order. Bond's investigation takes him from the bustling streets of New York City to the remote jungles of South America, where he must confront his own mortality and the consequences of his actions. As the lines between friend and foe blur, Bond must rely on his experience, wit, and enduring spirit to save the world one last time.

In Bond Evolution: Decades Apart, you will witness the evolution of the iconic spy as he battles enemies old and new, adapting to the changing world around him while staying true to his core values of loyalty, charm, and unwavering determination.

It's stuff like this which makes me unafraid of the idea that AI will rise up anytime soon... at the very least they've not quite cracked the art of outlines/scriptwriting (for now, advanced as it is).

Bond is alone deep in the jungle on a training mission sans technology and weapons except for a machete. He encounters a beautiful (naturally) woman who is running for her life. She has escaped from a terrorist stronghold where she and her husband were held after being kidnapped and held for ransom. She begs Bond for help, as she knows her government will not negotiate with terrorists. Bond agrees to do what he can, but then discovers her husband is himself a terrorist wanted by the British government.

I like that. Bond being on his own from the onset is a neat little twist on the usual Bond formula, and I'd want to know what happens.

I'm not sure if this is quite a film idea yet, feels more like a short story, but I think this is pretty fantastic. Not only does it set up obstacles galore, but it has a neat twist.

It may not be a fully realized film idea, but what's here is excellent and could be developed.

That's the second idea I've read of Crabkey's that are not only very strong concepts, but theyre two of the best out of the many I've read on here.

    Really nice work.

@crabkey you've packed a lot of great things into the idea. It's simply constructed on the surface, but slyly presents a lot of problems for Bond (no technology, weapons or ways of communication; on an island, so he's isolated... And then of course a twist that feels very Fleming).

A good rule for drama, writing, but especially in film, is to never be easy on your protagonist (Fleming was a Master with this),, and this concept opens up many potential obstacles for Bond to overcome.

    I really am impressed

A concept i have for the next Bond era:
    Title: The Double-O Archives
An animated miniseries consisting of 6 30-minute episodes to fill-in the gaps between the films' releases*. The stories would be one-offs and would loosely take inspiration from Fleming's short stories. It could tie-in with the next Bond continuity or take place on its own, like how Project OO7 is said to be.
*It would depend on how much time passes between one film and another.

    What do you say?

May I step and further mix-match-and-both ? Bond - rather than the villain - gets away from the space station in a pod-with-a-nod, which is to say, resembling Blofeld's escape pod in DAF (let's fact, in DAF, in that pod Blofeld got shaken up, not killed, but Bond cannot be bothered to retrieve the thing and apprehend or kill Blofeld). So Bond, in THIS pod, does escape. Maybe even have a Moment, with Bond-in-pod looking through his window and matching eyes with Stromdrax, standing at a window, looking out and seeing Bond before boom-goes-the-station. That MOMENT, btw, would be a mx-match-both from TWINE when The-Man-Who-Felt-No-Pain and Bond were close together at buh-bye time.

I misunderstood the premise of this game and propose it be its own topic. Goes like this:

Select a PTS, early sequences (meeting with M ? One where the opening does NOT go that way), villain plan, Bond foils it (eg. just Bond ? just Bond (a la DN, FRWL, LALD, TMWTGG, etc) or Bond with lady lead (TB at the post-Battle ending) vs the Villain, Bond brings an army a la GF, TB, YOLT, OHMSS, DAF, last minute threat and the very end Bond-with-lady-lead. This could have more components. Might even list them from the 25+2 films, and the commenters select and write and say,
this one from column a (PTS)
    that one from column B
    etc, all the way through.

For each component, the selected sequence to plug into this Frankensteinian mish-mash gets identified and briefly described, and for each component the film from which it comes gets name

Perhaps an alt version would be
    Choose your Bond Actor
Choose a leading lady and other additional characters
    Choose a Villain
    Chose a Villain-plan

    and mix them

    For example:
Moonraker, with Pierce Brosnan, with Odd Job not Jaws, with Dr. No not Drax, with Raquel Welch from the 1960s (yup, breaking my own rules and bending time), Garbage on the theme and with toned down humor, more like FRWL
