Me too I love the Harryhausen films from Mysterious Island to Clash of the Titans I own most of them to be honest they had more character and charm than most of the CGI fests of today. Recently I recorded a few Doug Mclure films also great fun

Enhanced intelligence with the Dinosaurs would be a natural or rather unnatural next step for the series.

i am not completely sold on JWFK yet.. i wasn't too impressed by the trailer - it's flashy and all.. but i feel like they kind of took the last 50 pages to the original JP novel, and somehow are fabricating a 2 hour movie around that........ for those of you who don't know (forgive me it's been years since i've read the original novel) - Isla Nublar was destroyed at the end of book (either by a missile explosion, or self destruction device... something like that.. again, it's been years).. but either way, Isla Nublar was no more.... so now it seems like they are taking that, and wrapping some humanitarian effort for a plot.........

.......... i dont know.

... but i am not writing it off without seeing it.. i am just not over the moon about this.. for what it's worth - i felt the same for JW, and ended up liking it enough, so we'll see.

I'm not sure what to make of this at present. It certainly seems competently put together but I think the script is what will make or break it for me. The scares I've seen before.

One thing that is encouraging is that the Jurassic World concept was presented to Steven Spielberg as a three film project, one story told in three parts; so they aren't just wandering in hopes of coming up with an idea for the next film.

It's a shame the current Star Wars trilogy was not set up in the same way, Star Wars is bumbling from one film to the next.
