    Daniel's ears have burnt to a crisp by now. He stars in this film. It's his final Bond movie. It is the most controversial Bond movie ever and he's on screen in almost every scene. His performance is more than very good; he's superb. NTTD is an amazing journey, so beautifully filmed. Members here are picking the film apart in detail, chatting about everything (as we always do) ... and yet I had to go to page 8 on this forum to find the thread specifically appreciating Daniel Craig. ;)

    Onward to Knives Out 2. But Daniel Craig's James Bond will be forever in the series canon, set apart as very memorable indeed. And for many members, pure gold, including his last one.

    I saw they had already started pre-production on Knives Out 3 as well.

    Oooh! I did not know that. That makes me happy, @Thunderfinger . I enjoyed the first one a lot. So much depends upon the casting; also the script, sure. The first one had a wonderful cast of fine actors. I bet they are making films more quickly now ALSO because we now live in a world where another pandemic is not just possible, but probable in the not too distant at all future.

    Just saw Knives Out after watching Quantum of Solace. The difference was jarring for the 1st 10 minutes, but I love Craig's goofy persona.

    I'm sure he wants to do more funny films to break out of the typecast of a morose killer.

    A gorgeous tribute to what I consider the second best tenure / silver age of Bond, after the incredible run of 6 in the 60s. Craig's five films are stuffed with memorable moments that are burned into my brain forever, and I'm so grateful he got to be my James Bond since I was a kid.     This was excellent!
    A few observations and reaffirmation:
    Dench's contributions to the Craig era elevated the entries she was in and since her departure the Bond films have missed a very crucial component.

    SPECTRE's cinematography was grossly misguided (the least of that film's problems).

    Arnold's scores are the best soundtracks of the Craig era.

    Eva Green is the best Bond girls of all time.

    CR and QoS have the best Bond characterization.

    The Craig era peaked with SF.

    CR is a masterpiece!

    I’m almost the same age as DC and quite apart from being insanely jealous of him, obvs, I can only admire him for getting into shape at 50 for NTTD. Not so jealous as to stop me from finishing this bottle of red, admittedly.

    Great list mate. As much as I love the action cues in NTTD, Not What I Expected might be my favourite track because it's new and different it's not what I expected from Zimmer at all (pardon the pun)

    I know this is an old comment but I can't agree with this at all. When Connery gets up from the CdF table and walks over to cash in his chips while simultaneously arranging a date with Silvia in Dr.No, there's no moment in history, Bond film or otherwise that compares to the effortless swagger from Connery. Second is Lazenby walking down the steps from his suite into the casino. The confidence and swagger demonstrated by Connery and Lazenby isn't remotely close to being matched by Craig or anyone else for that matter.
