I'm his banker.
Yes, especially if I said it. I need to create a shadowy and dubious reputation to offset my apparent outside innocuous and trusting side. I'll have to take lessons from Thundy and see where that gets me.
Perhaps they fail to take into account his... hidden assets.
Specialise in hostile takeovers as well, my friend?
I simply believe in a reasonable rate of return. And a yearly bonus.
I'm just a man who knows his business, and his clientele. My motto is "Insurance is assurance" and I can play hard ball with anyone to protect and invest my clients' money where it best serves their bottom line and retirement plans. AND IT'S ALL TOTALLY, 100% LEGAL WITH NO LOOPHOLE JUMPING TO SPEAK OF.
I guess I just have a knack for selling people on deals and ideas. I've got a funny story about a banking deal I did with a tycoon in Peru where I literally enticed him to sell his mother up the river to another rich family, some centuries old billionaire royalty who the woman would serve under as a maid. The sale of the old bird funded my client's big stock investment involving a prototype plane in Miami that would net him big money if things went our way. That end of the job didn't go through for whatever reason, but a fun story from an anecdotal perspective.
Excellently put.
That's interesting GL....he might well be interested in a villain role like that, what do you think ?
Yeah. What does she think. I could wonder endlessly about this The most difficult of all enigmas!
Are you taking the p**s by any chance ?
Yes, I think he might like that. Being bad seems much more interesting aa it has more layers to it.
I think a lot of people were surprised by his versatility in Logan Lucky, which may have opened a few new doors for him, post Bond.
Do you really have to ask? I mean, if somebody hired Craig to play the stake that pierces Draculas heart she would wax endlessly about how many new nuances he is getting out of it.
I didn't know you were a comics reader, @Sandy. Awesome!
I haven't seen any of the actual X Men films but I'm interested, I really liked Deadpool, I like Channing Tatum, and for Craig to do a comic book movie I feel like the character/script must be interesting (unless he just wants another big franchise to keep the money rolling in now he's done with Bond but he's probably set for life now anyway and he usually seems quite picky with his roles so I doubt that). And it'll be cool to see him play a proper villain.
I'm just happy to be seeing more of him. He's a really good actor, I think he's by far the most talented one to play Bond, and could do really well after Bond if he plays his cards right imo. Could see him getting nominated/winning an Oscar if he got cast in the right movie.
Wonder if we could see him pop up in Kingsman 3? Seems that Channing Tatum really liked working with him and obviously him and Vaughn have history. I know Vaughn said he wanted Dwayne Johnson to play the villain in the next one but how cool would it be to have James Bond be the bad guy in what's basically the Scream of the spy genre.
"Life is not a James Bond film," DC says.
From all reports, DC became good friends with both Tatum and Driver.
