Did this get posted to this thread? I think it only came online last year and I can't spot it, but it should be here :)

How about some instrumental versions of the original Bond songs I made today? Ideal for a 007 karaoke party! :)

    You Know My Name

    A View To A Kill

    The Living Daylights

The Man With The Golden Gun

    GoldenEye

    You Only Live Twice

Yeah that one came out extremely well, didn't it? (I did use the individual file links but it seems to open the whole folder- ah well!)

I used this incredible site for it. Make some of your own! :)

Yeah, it sure did. I like all of them really, but I just had that urge to go for You Know My Name first.

    Thanks! I'll check it out.

Thanks for bringing this up. Around the same time you posted this, there was a post over at the Film Score Monthly forums that mentioned the origins of the track. It prompted me to investigate the matter a bit further.

Turns out a month after that Soundcloud track was posted, a higher quality version was played in an interview with John Altman at the What's the Score podcast hosted by Frank Wilson. Here's the link:

    https://whatsthescore1.podbean.com/e/whats-the-score-with-guest-composer-john-altman/

You can hear the track at 47:00.

Also, I cut the track out of the podcast using lossless MP3 editing software, to avoid recompressing the audio. You can download it here:

I'm going to fool around with that tool. @DarthDimi, this is what's going to happen some day with unreleased film scores. If our brains can separate music from sound effects (or vocals from other musical instruments) when we listen to audio, neural network-based software can do it as well.

I went to AVTAK first. That one came out very well.

The track order suggests the tracks are sourced from the 1999 or 2002 Best of James Bond album. I've got the 1999 version. I've always loved the accompanying booklet.

Ooh I just thought: anyone got the NTTD podcast as an mp3? Let’s run it through X Minus and get the Zimmer track!

Yes go for it: although it won't remove sound effects it should reveal a few unreleased Barry tracks you'd think.
There is a more complex professional version, but that online one works really well.

Yes indeed: I'd say that, TMWTGG and GoldenEye are amongst the best. Moonraker doesn't quite work, sadly. Thunderball is pretty excellent, but Tom's final note confuses it! :D

Yep, pretty sure you're right! It only goes up to TWINE.
Writing's on the Wall would probably sound quite nice!

Okay, I added the two tracks from the NTTD podcast. It really struggles with them as they're so low in the mix, but you can certainly make the music out:

Yeah, snippets of the music pops out here and there. Not an easy listen though, but as always, thanks for the effort @mtm :) From the little I heard, it sounds like a very classic Bond score.

Great stuff @mtm thanks for sharing! I’ve always wanted to hear the instrumental version of DAD so that I can enjoy the cool beat and orchestral elements without Madonnas’s constipation sounds over it.

There's also an actual instrumental version that was released or leaked at some point.

Yeah Surrender comes out weirdly good doesn't it? It sounds almost perfect: I think I'd believe that was the instrumental track if I didn't know.

I think it would leave the sound effects in, but it’s worth a go: have a try.

Also, I always liked the end title remix better too:

Thanks so much for this track! Great to hear it. Shame they didn't include the rest of the track (Bond crashing through the Perrier lorry and the statue etc) - would love to track this down one day. Maybe one of the future LLL releases...
