Although I would say that no-one should download those unless you've bought the score from La La Land or 007 Store! :) We've got to support their excellent releases.

well i for one have and will continue to support further releases though in hindsight through la la land rather than 007 store (a purely fiscal choice on my part).

Yes, LLL came in a bit cheaper for me too and pretty much arrived the same time.

4 days till LLL’s next announcement.
The possibility of OHMSS 55th anniversary expanded score being one of the next 3 titles got me so excited, I am now beginning to imagine the most improbable scenario where LLL unleashes on us the holy Blofeld Trilogy of YOLT-OHMSS-DAF

if they were to do yolt and daf then save for one brief unreleased cue being added to daf i would expect we are only looking at goldfinger like sound remastering and corrected track ordering not bountiful new music as with say mr ohmss or tb.

I'm really hoping for a 40th and 30th release for A View To A Kill and GoldenEye. Those are my top 2 Bond scores.

Would Eon have rights to composers' work where they started on a film soundtrack, then redirected to other projects or were otherwise replaced? To present that recorded music, in coordination with the composer or their heirs. Not sure if there's an example for that in the film industry.

Most recently as NTTD, with Dan Romer departing the production and Hans Zimmer taking on the score.

well michael j lewis i believe had a promo release of his rejected goldeneye score though i think he only managed about 22 minutes or so of music before like romer he lost the job.

No I mean the music is real but it wasn't composed for GoldenEye.

From this thread on the old CBn:
    https://debrief.commanderbond.net/topic/11323-goldeneye-rejected-score/

someone on there said they contacted Lewis himself and he said he didn't even compose it, let alone it being from GE.

I was looking at the same thread. This is an area of Bond music ("Bond music" to be fair) I knew about but never really looked into, despite having posted in that very thread. I probably only listened to part of that album just once in the past.

Would be mildly interesting to identify the source of the library tracks. The Cat's blog post is lost to time, unfortunately. But it would make sense for someone to have put this fake album together with the purpose of selling it as a rare item at an exorbitant price.

Some tracks do have a 70s sound to them.

well they did a pretty good job of copying his style if he said he didnt do it
  • I wonder if the delayed releases announced tomorrow by LaLa Land may include 1, 2 or 3 Craig Soundtracks? With no big anniversaries, it would explain why they could be deferred to January but Roger’s two remained December releases?

I think the Craig-Soundtracks (of the bond scores) are at the end of the priority list by Lala Land

I agree but there are still 2 Daltons, 5 Connerys, 3 Moores, 1 Brosnan, 1 Lazenby and 4 Craigs to release (soundtrack-wise). It may be the material was ready and available for the Craig movies

if they should release ohmss and ltk that would equate to an unprecedented 5 bonds in as many months with the prospect of 3 more tb avtak and ge in another 11 months at this rate if continued (and if anniversaries were ignored) we'll have all save for those whose film release occured post 2005 due to some american musicians legallity incurring high prohibitive costs i believe for la la land in a couple of years. oh and of course were unlikely to ever see dn and frwl.
