That’s it. He’s either playing himself or has bad writing for his characters. And as for celebrity voice acting going too far, he’s one of the biggest offenders.

They could have gone with someone more original for the lead voice roles.
Also, one thing I’m getting tired of in comeback movies is when a villain that they already faced, and the younger generation has to beat them because they’re the only ones that can do it. The biggest offenders of this recently are Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
Then stop watching the single film where he does die.
I'm tired of all the credits being saved until the very end.
I love a nice opening title sequence and seeing the names of the cast and crew as the movie commences. I miss that tradition.

Me three. I also really miss “The End” at the end of movies.
At least the James Bond films are keeping that tradition going with their title sequences. Perhaps not quite at the opening of the film, but near enough. :)

And I absolutely hate when a movie opens with just the title... or in some cases no titles at all!!

Some movies I wouldn't change. Obviously I'd never sacrifice the opening STAR WARS logo and crawl. I haven't seen any of the newer STAR WARS films so I don't know how well that tradition has been kept.
Couldn't agree more. In some respects I'd say the art of theme music in general has diminished. I certainly couldn't hum the music to any of the Bourne films or Marvel films if asked. I think music styles changed over the years and composers just aren't as concerned with provided a catchy score.
Objection, your honor. It didn't really hurt John Williams' scores that most of Steven Spielberg's movies did not have opening credits, on which some version of his sublime music could easily have been played.
You mean the two movies when he does die (for good ; FRWL and YOLT don't count).
So DAD and CR should be okay, too. A relief.
I suppose that the equivalent in the spy story or film is the double agent or traitor and that's been used a lot too.
That goes for traitors in general, it's like most action films/dramas are forced to include one these days.

This is a great choice. This is happening way too much for sure.
I think it's done to add a twist, often for the sake of it. Which is one thing I'm tired of seeing in movies: big twists for the sake of it (whether it's a traitor revealed or a new villain, or a new threat, or a MacGuffin). Sometimes one kills suspense and emotional investment for cheap shock value.
But there's truth in television: there's no war without traitor. The police has undercover agents and informants, the mob has money to corrupt government officials. I've read enough about true crime to know that traitors sadly do exist and they can be quite frequent. I'm writing crime fiction and I have come up with a subversion I can't wait to use: a high ranking police officer suspected by my main character to be a traitor while in fact he's merely self serving and incompetent.
I have always felt the comedy of the Moore era was due to his inability to inhabit the role as Connery did. I never took his Bond seriously. Connery projected a sense of danger Moore could not achieve. He could also make the humorous quips without resorting to the wink, wink comedy. Many of the strongest aspects of Connery's performances may be found in his expressions with no dialogue.
In your "films" ? As in, your dreams ? Quite understandable ! A fine actress, regardless of my own participation in reducing her to an object, an exceedingly lovely object, but, still. The Silver Linings Playbook, for one - she's terrific.
When I was a student I glanced down at the bicycle I was riding and noticed it had come apart with just the brake cable holding the halves together. Only then did I fall off it.
You have no idea how much it infuriated the child version of me when I discovered that physics forbid this from happening. ;-)
