It'll be interesting to see just where TWINE's PTS ranks. Many members speak highly of it, many claim it's overrated. I think TLD may take the crown, but we shall see.
My guess is either FRWL, CR or TSWLM. ;-)
I love FRWL's, but I don't think it stands much of a chance against the others mentioned. I expect to see GF and SF near the top as well.

    How about a one-liners elimination game ?

I like the idea, but if it's to be just one per film, how will it be chosen?

There's no way you really could. Maybe just a general "This film has the best one-liners" sort of thing.

I'm with @Agent007391 on this. It cannot be done in any satisfying practical way. Imagine an elimination game with 2000 lines ripped from the scripts. :D By the time we're finished with it, our Sun will have died.

You have NO IDEA how Icarus will change your world, @QBranch!

Wait, when we're quoting from DAD, something's wrong. /:)

As long as tomorrow never quotes, this has been at least a little fun.

Not sure the last time it was done on here, but would love an Ally elimination game.

Just a suggestion, what about running the future elimination games with a score system like this: +1/-2? (which is used in the pts game)

I love the +1/-2 format. Adds some more strategy and provides an inevitable end.

This is a negative outlook way of voting. it would be better to do a +2/-1 voting scheme with periodic point reductions to keep the game from going on forever.

Dude, they're called "Elimination games". Elimination. So the general notion is basically negative by definition. It is all about the minus votes and less about the plus votes actually.

@Thunderfinger's system works very well in my opinion.

The -2/+1 system is the best. @Thunderfinger is the man. \m/

Yeah, but we ain't never gonna start with 77 point for each entry anymore. ;-)

    50 points would be fine

    I'm partial to 23 myself.

By the way, are there formal rules for point-cutting, or is it at the discretion of the game runner?

As long as the game runner is reasonable, almost everything is at his discretion, @Soundofthesinners. ;-)

Fair enough. Since the two current games are in the endgame, should we start discussion on the next one, or is it still too early?
