@Octopussy wants to run another overall Bond Film Elimination Game (he has started one already). I'm for it, but would prefer that he wait until NTTD is released, being only two months away. Also that we go back to the +1/-2 format. Any thoughts?

I started playing the game, but I do think it would be more interesting to wait until NTTD drops. Granted opinions on the film may change over time after release, but it’d be nice to include it for the first time plus there’ll probably be at least one more game with it before B26!

The alternative is rather then a straight up Film elimination, we could do one based upon each actors individual performance in the role or even the most stylish Bond film? Just throwing some ideas out in case the current format is too run-of-the-mill.

So classic film elimination after NTTD, and performance now? If so yes.

I'd love to start a performances game now then if we're waiting for the film elimination game to start after NTTD. I think it's an interesting topic considering there seems to be a lot of discussions around the definitive Bond performance.

We last did it late 2017. Connery in FRWL won. Brosnan in TWINE came last.

I have a suggestion for the next Elimination game, the ”Femme Fatales” of the series. The wikipedia entry of the term reads: ”a mysterious and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations.”

In the series, in almost every movie, there’s a female henchman to the main villain that tries to seduce Bond for evil causes. He often, but not always, end up in bed with her about halfway through the movie and she is often killed towards the end. She could be seen as the dark counterpart to the main Bond girl.

Here’s what I came up with, please leave some feedback and more suggestions for the list that I may have forgot.

    Dr. No - Miss Taro
    Goldfinger - Pussy Galore
    Thunderball - Fiona Volpe
You Only Live Twice - Helga Brandt
Diamonds Are Forever - Bambi & Thumper
Live And Let Die - Rosie Carver
The Spy Who Loved Me - Naomi
    Octopussy - Magda
Never Say Never Again - Fatima Blush
A View To A Kill - May Day
    GoldenEye - Xenia Onatopp
The World Is Not Enough - Elektra King
Die Another Day - Miranda Frost
    Skyfall - Sévérine

Great suggestions. I was uncertain about adding Pussy Galore since she’s the main Bond girl in GF and eventually turns to Bonds side, but so did May Day, and Magda. So that’s not going to be a requirement.
Elektra could be seen as a main villain but should also be on the list. Fatima Blush should definitely be on the list, as she is the typical idea of the Femme Fatale.

How about a Gogol elimination game? Featuring the films he appears in, with focus on his inclusion therein.

How about “first scene after the title sequence“ game?
The gogol game sounds interesting but difficult.

How about a ”Bond. James Bond.” quote elimination game? I’m trying to put something together.

Think we have had that before and TLD won, with OP coming in second. I recall I was in absolute agreement about that. :)

I'm going to push the envelope a tiny tad. In a way it's sacrilege but also spicy, but who doesn't like to kick the hornets nest once in a while? It could be an original idea, not sure if this elimination game was played before. It gets my blood pumping either way.

    Has been done.

Has also been done, but only for the first one from each actor.

I would still like to set up a Gogol film elimination game. Alternatively a helicopter scene or shark scene elimination game.

@Slazenger7 , if we do that proposed game, this could be helpful:

@Slazenger7 , if we do that proposed game, this could be helpful:

It misses the one from LTK where he's interrupted mid-sentence.

Does Tim really only say it in full once in his two films?

I watched LTK yesterday and can't remember the scene?!

It's a good idea. The winner is obvious, though...
