  • Sir Rog invents a contraption to prevent anyone from smelling any foie gras whatsoever. ~:>
  • I think it's about time we put this to bed

    Therefore, I hereby declare (after some careful consideration)

    that Q Branch wins this round with "Q's new homing beacon prototype was less inconspicuous than the previous watch-mounted version"

    Thanks to all who participated

    Thank you very much @Baltimore_007. :) At some point I made an Octopussy-related joke, and @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 made an awesome Octopussy joke AT THE EXACT SAME TIME as I did! So, as great minds think alike, please respect my decision as I pass the baton on to @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 for awesome thinking and timing!.

    @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7:

    "After donning a red nose for Red Nose Day, poor Sir Rog had to be restrained after he attempted to steal a clown mask and act out the infamous Octopussy scene. One of the most ironic things about the affair: He was actually in West Germany."

    @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 Fire away!

    Great but can the judger of future competitions please select a runner up and possibly a third. Therefore if the winner does not want it, it goes fairly to the 2nd and so on.
    Only the judger should be able to pass the baton on not a selected winner, I thank you for adhering to this. Makes it all round a little fairer. Cheers. :-bd

    Yes, I do agree @dfanslittlefinger. This happened in the CatCapCon. NO DISRESPECT to anyone, I might add, but I would like to continue the Cap Con smoothly. Such circumstances make it difficult for shy winners (such as myself) to pass the baton on to worthy 2nd place winners! Having said that, there were a lot of very intellectual captions delivered. I would like to pass the baton onto @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7.

    Once again, thank you!

    Thanks for the honor @QBranch, you are a true gentleman. Well, since I haven't seen ol' Sean popped around here too much, I'll give him a shout out. This is a rare, questionable, yet nonetheless hilarious photo I found a while back that I have been aching to use. So, without further ado, make us all cry with tears of laughter!

    Connery: Tanaka, I don't think I can go through with this!

    Tanaka: But this is duty.

    Connery:I'll gladly wear a wedding dress, but to hell with the wedding- he has a face like a pig!

    The real reason Connery didn't return to Bond after Diamonds Are Forever is revealed in this early pre production shot for the next Bond movie.
    Connery was quoted as saying 'Tom (Mankiewicz), is taking these films in a really weird direction.'

    But for me this one from @MajorDSmythe got the biggest laugh...

    "Musht shtop left arm..."

    Nice one Sir. :-))

    Sean didn't take the Mr. Universe competition as seriously as he should have.

    Or

    After numerous attempts to hide it, Della's bridesmaids still found Bond's hyper-magnetic Rolex 'quite revealing'.

    For Connery, the appearance of Colonel Jacques Bouvar in Thunderball marked the beginning of a new secret fetish.
