I thought the rules state that the winner is given 24 hours to continue the competition, and at that time, someone else takes over if no new picture/quote/etc. has been posted?

Then, in that case might I suggest that the rules come into play on both threads affected. There has been more than enough time to upload a new photo for captioining...

Well @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 can pass it to me if he wants, but if that's the case, you all will have to go easy on me, as I never really participated in the past and am bound to pick a cat picture that has been used before. If he chooses to wait, that's fine, but Baltimore is typically the one who points out these things don't move along at a steady pace for this exact reason. I say we keep it going so it doesn't fall back a few pages until it requires a bump in a month or two.

@Creasy47 makes a great point with regards to picking a photo, which has been used previously. Is there any way to bundle all of the used photos into one post without us having to trawl through all 57 pages? Or if not how about setting a time limit so that a photo cannot be used again for a certain period of time? (perhaps 4/5 months).

Is there anyone responsible for running these trivia threads? We could do with laying down some ground rules etc.

Or, if anything, stick to a rule where you can't use a photo contained in the past ten to fifteen entries, something like that. Usually when I end up winning a CapCon, I somehow manage to pick a photo again that has already been used in the past. But, again, that is going off of the prospect of Brady deciding that I continue. If Baltimore returns before Brady decides, then that's fine, but if not, I say I should get this thing going again.

I've seen all the previous pages, so for this next round, I'll let you know if a picture has been used- and if you guys like, I can put all the previous pictures into one post with suitable labels. It might take a while, but I think I can get it done before next week's round.

That's a very good idea and very kind of you to do that @QBranch.

That would be very helpful, thank you. If anything, a list on page one that shows all the links or something would work.

Not a problem. However, I don't have any posts on the first few pages to edit in a list. I could always just post it when we reach page 60- a nice round number, and I'm sure some of us can remember the list is there. What are your thoughts, guys?

I think you should only need to go back to the beginning of this year personally and not worry about the photos posted in 2011/12.

@WillyGalore has a good point. Just go back a little ways - perhaps to the begin of 2013 - and go from there. If anything, we tend to get maybe two or three of these contests a month, and I say nothing should be repeat in a calendar year. Once 2014 hits, everything should be fair game, unless it was just posted last month or something.

I have a pretty reliable memory, so I should be able to recognize an already used photo if we ever run into that kind of situation. Besides, I have a folder on my computer with previously unused images in them that relate to both CapCons that I saved for later rounds and that I feel would make for good caption pictures down the road.

Anyway, since it has already been almost a week, I'm passing the torch to @Creasy47. No point in holding this thing up any further.

Thank you, Brady. Now, is it as simplistic as just picking a cat picture online that would make for good captions?

Pretty much, yes. And make sure it's a white cat, obviously.

Alright, let's try this. If it's been used lately, let me know and I'll opt for something else:

Mr. Tinkles from Cats & Dogs demonstrated his spy organization's latest disguise kit. "New model, improved specs... Furry inconspicuous, I think is the term."

Roy Orbison's cat would only be having half a turkey this Christmas of 1988.

This year, despite not being able to find the correct colour wig, Blofeld's cat decided to go to the SPECTRE Halloween Party as Rosa Klebb

Mike Myers desperation for a plotline for Austin Powers 4 really scraped the bottom of the barrel when it was suggested that Powers had actually had a secret love child unbeknownst to him?

Now a new evil stalks powers!!! mwaaaaaah mwaaaaaaaah mwaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!

I would never have thought to make a reference to Austin Powers and Mr. Bigglesworth. Very clever, @RogueAgent!

Kitty Klebb looked harmless enough until, that is, one inspects her paws which are laden with venom. It's Kitty's way of recreating her idol Colonel Rosa Klebb's poison knitting needles. Handsome but deadly.

"Welcome to Japan, Mr. Bond!" Tiddles-san greeted the actor upon arrival on the set.
Sean's enthusiasm waned after he learned he would have to wear this wig in the film.
