1st trailer for the R-Rated action/comedy Gringo, featuring Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton, David Oyelowo and Sharlto Copley:
Coming in cinemas on March 9, 2018.
Totally 100% agree. And it's directed by Stefano Sollima of The Gomorrah TV series, who for my money is looking like an excellent substitute director.

1st full trailer for Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again will drop tomorrow:
Aka Mamma #metoo
The one difference maker past all that is finding a director who is just as passionate about making the action as grounded and realistic as he can. They couldn't chuck in another generic, Hollywood, CG-glazed chase scene and expect it to compare with the thrilling Nice chase in the 1998 version.
I'm down for seeing Sean Bean in anything, I'd be intrigued to see how they manage to get him to return since he seemed like a big, inept schemer the first time around (AND he avoided death, something rare for the man!)
Ronin was an excellent film. The world needs more excellent films like Ronin. The world does not need a remake of Ronin. The world already has Ronin.
But if they must...I expect Javier Bardem, Mads Mikkelsen, and Charles Dance to join the cast.
Perfection, couldn't have said it any better myself.
@DaltonCraig007, I'm selfish and want Miller signed up for nothing but the next Mad Max. Berg is ridiculously talented when shooting action, I'd be more than OK with that choice.
Let me guess, all female?
I won't be shocked in the slightest if they go that route.
in Roninettes?
Still waiting for that all-female Expandabelles they were going to milk to death.

Mercenaries?
I haven't seen it, but it came to mind when you mentioned about the female Exbendables.
Is it racist if I say I love Eijiofor´s Afro accent?
I don´t want to read anymore about a possible Ronin remake until April 1st. What´s up next, a remake of Apocalypse Now?
Ugh.
I love Ronin. It's not the fact they want to make a similar film that bothers me, but the fact they have to label it as a remake. I don't think the film can be formally remade in any successful, meaningful way. A remake will either turn out to be too similar or too different to the original. I find it hard to put into words why this is the case but hopefully someone else will get what I mean. Other films can be remade but Ronin? No way.
I imagine it's all about brand names and built-in audiences. Like that Tetris movie. Ugh.
