If this was shot a few years back Sid Haig would have definitely played Grandpa.

    Paddington 3

    https://www.darkhorizons.com/third-paddington-sets-title-director/
Award-winning commercials filmmaker Dougal Wilson has been set as director of the third film in the celebrated “Paddington” film franchise at StudioCanal and Heyday Films.

Titled “Paddington in Peru,” shooting for the new film will begin on location in both London and Peru next year. Peru is Paddington’s native home.

Wilson is taking over directing duties from Paul King who is currently shooting “Wonka” starring Timothee Chalamet. King says in a statement:

“After ten years of working on the Paddington movies, I feel absurdly protective of the little bear, and I’m delighted that Dougal will be there to hold his paw as he embarks on his third big-screen adventure. Dougal’s work is never less than astounding: funny, beautiful, heartfelt, imaginative, and totally original. Aunt Lucy once asked us to ‘Please Look After This Bear.’ I know Dougal will do so admirably.”

King will stay on the project as an executive producer and wrote the story for the film with previous collaborators Simon Farnaby and Mark Burton. Burton, Jon Foster and James Lamont wrote the script.

The cast and story of the third film are under wraps. The two existing films have grossed more than $500 million at the worldwide box office.

I'm happy that the new TV show did not preclude a third film.

The trailer for the new tv show looked dreadful, it turned me right off. Edward Woodward will always be The Equalizer in my mind. A gentlemanly demeanor covering up a deep deep well of rage. The character of Robert McCall summed up perfectly in one scene...

    Guy Richie’s Hercules

If I were a casting director my first choice would be
Glen Powell. He is a good actor, has charisma to spare and a hell of a physique. Coming off of the success of TG:Maverick, he’s a strong contender.

I kind of hope they’ll get James Woods back. He was the best part of the original!

The Survivor dropped on HBO in late April; I thought it was alright, nothing special. Another great performance from Ben Foster in a sea of many though.

Just found out they are re-releasing 'First Blood' in the cinemas for its 40th Anniversary! Two showings, one tomorrow which I cant go to and the other on Tuesday at 10pm which means i would have to duck out of the ending to 'Moonraker' which I have my ticket for, Damn!

Am hearing bad stories of the anniversary reissue of John Carpenters superb 'The Thing', with reports of poor quality, incorrect aspect ratio etc. It didnt get a re-release here in Ireland, but I was tempted to go to 'First Blood' last night, am wondering now would it have suffered the same fate! The reshowings of Bond I have seen so far have been mixed, some looked superb but others the prints were a bit dodgy in places!

Cameron Diaz is returning to acting with Netflix action-comedy Back in Action, also starring Jamie Foxx:

I don't have high hopes for most action-comedies from Netflix but I've always been a big fan of Diaz's so I'll eagerly await this one. She's been missed.

Clerks 2 is excellent. This trailer didn't really wow me but I'm more than excited to see it eventually.

This looks very similar to a sub plot from a TV Horror show I watched a few years ago.

I'll check it out because I enjoyed the first one but I already know how it'll end with it being a prequel.

Not watched the first film I was just thinking I thought I recognized the title 'Orphan', is it the same set of characters in this prequell?

    Potential Spoilers...
In the TV show I mentioned, a character masquerading as young girl ended up being a 30 something psychopathic killer, the girl in this trailer looks much older than she is supposed to be so wondering if the same idea is being used here.
