An on-set source said: “A stunt double was used for the risky action which will leave fans doubting the spy’s survival in the franchise.
“It’s one of the riskiest moves writers have ever made and will provide a nail-biting ending to the film.

No open end please :(
Probably just BS, but if true I'd be unhappy. There's nothing more infuriating to me than an open ended story. It's a writer's job to finish his story. No Lady or the Tiger here please.
Is this the same guy?
Stunt performer Dave R Grant, member of British Stunt Register. Worked on Casino Royal and Spectre although those movies not listed on his IMDB-page which is strange. But their included in his showreel named "British Stunt Register", geo-tagged with Pinewood Studios. There's also a beach pic from Jamaica taken in May. And his company Fit for films kept crew members and actors at their physical and mental peak while working on Skyfall.

But according to Ron Milione (behind all the 007 gadgets books) it's Daniel Craig's stunt double Jean-Charles Rousseau (below) in a Tom Ford suit.
Isle of wight filming may be doubling for jamaica scenes which were remaining for filming becuase of DC's injury.......
What do you say guys....
The Sun...
Yum.
You must not be a fan of Fleming then…..he ‘killed’ Bond at the end of FRWL and (to some extents) at the end of YOLT. These ‘deaths’ were resolved in the inevitable sequels that followed. Fleming loved ambiguous death scenes at the end of his novels. We, the audience, know that Bond will return…..but I’d be down for a ‘death’ finale to end the Craig era.
This suit is ugly though. Not really digging any of the costumes for this film so far. This suit and the ugly shirt-tie combo. It reminds me of this look from SP, though in hindsight…..this image is very cool:
That's not even 100% sure.
:-&
Thanks for sharing. Awesome photo for a wallpaper
What's not 100% sure? Are you incapable of expressing yourself or elaborating beyond facile rejoinders?
Of course it's true. Also, none of us know for sure whether Craig is going to return or not, but if his recent comments are anything to go by then it looks increasingly unlikely. If he were to return then I'd expect another 4-5 year hiatus until he was ready to commit.
We never know with him, do we.
I'm almost certain that he won't be back for another one, but...
If you have a problem with my comments, you can always file an official complaint with the moderators.
I never "attacked you" and respect your opinions, so I expect the same from you kind sir.
it's hardly 'apples and oranges'. You are simply mistaken. Even if Craig were not to return, there is a huge likelihood that the series would continue and Harris/Fiennes/Whishaw would return as well. Craig's 'death' would be confined to the end of his era and there would be a soft reboot with a new Bond.
Bond #7 returning to active service after an injury or coming back to MI6 after they believe him dead. There are 1000sof narrative devices to justify the 'return of Bond' after a supposed death. Just watch 'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Jason Bourne'.
I can imagine the title being used in this context:
Or perhaps it'l be more elegiac, with Bond about to die:
come on James, this is no time to die.
Bond:
No, it's the perfect time to die
The title is growing on me......it has a kinda 'pulpy' airport paperback feel to it. I just saw 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood' and NTTD has that feel of old Hollywood pulp. In fact.....going back and using an old Hollywood title from yesteryear is VERY Tarantino......
The connection to this film delights the film geek within me.
No, but it's 99,99999999% sure. Close enough. Especially since Craig will be 56 by the time Bond 26 comes out.
The colors could be coordinated better. A tan suit, blue shirt, red tie, and brown suede shoes could work but this is rather sloppily put together. Not a fan of the moc toe boots for sure. Perhaps it is not Bond.
Thanks for sharing @moneyofpropre2
Sounds similar too how Bond fell off a bridge in SF after being shot and was presumed dead. If it's true it would be quite weak. Still, never say never.
Seems like click bait to get us Bond fans all worked up.
Can someone maybe identify those goons: Not names but ethnicity, kind of weapons, clothes - as in who they take orders from. Does it look like your typical Spectre-thugs or some middle eastern gang or what? Or given this is Italy - perhaps Cosa Nostra?
Daily Mail - article itself is utter crap as usual
Sun
Action takes place on this bridge
They even say that SP was made 3 years ago - twice .
Imagine that.
Wonderful film. The way they cast "deadly serious" actors lol...
The "CERTAINLY NOT!" scene and the bells you hear after that old lady sniffs some cocaine... also very funny. :D
"Ever seen a grown man naked"? :-?
Shut it down.
