Bond was with all three when they died. None of them make sense.

The only one that could have an ounce of possibility would be Mr. White.

As someone pointed out when I was at CR in Concert, Bond was only in the water a few seconds less than Vesper, and then gave her CPR for all of 10 secs. Or maybe Mathis work up in that dumpster.

Is he hinting at a potential story twist?

I'm not hinting anything. Pure speculation.

Finneas said to Jimmy Fallon NTTD song will be released "really soon"...Seems like Billie Elish will very likely perform the Bond's theme song at the Oscars...
"Really soon" doesn't mean much tbh. I remember when Broccoli said something similar about the first trailer, and it was released two months after that.

My guess is last week of this month.

Is it me, or has the makeup team given Craig much bigger eyebrows for this film?
He dyed them I believe. I think it's a common practice for actors who have faded eyebrows. Helps show expression better.
Lol, yes one of my pet peeves concerning Craig’s appearance, his appearing and disappearing eyebrows. As pointed out eyebrows help to show expression, often very subtly or , in the case of Roger, even more dramatically. If you look at Craig’s appearance throughout his years as Bond, he looks his absolute best when his brows have been darkened a bit and are visible.
    They were nonexistent in Skyfall.

For anyone who thinks this is trivial and snickers at the discussion of eyebrows, extensive effort went into taming and shaping Sean’s to craft his appearance.
Just take a look at them in Darby O’Gill.

Or Marnie where they'd been trimmed into ladies' brows! :D

Yes, exactly, I'll make that correction, @CraigMooreOHMSS. And I'm obligated to ask you not to address me as "surely". Appreciated. (The correction I mean.)

    Always a pleasure, @RichardTheBruce

Revealing that Vesper survived would be really stupid (I'm not insulting any members, I know that they're just speculating and their theories are fine, just saying that the revelation itself would make no sense). It would completely undermine the ending of CR and the whole plot of QoS. And why would Bond ride into the sunset with Madeleine if Vesper's still alive?

I think the intention of that post is to highlight the returning forces in MI6, as supposed to Nomi who is new.

But as Connor said, she’s not ‘returning’ as the text of the post says.

The only way I could see Vesper returning in any capacity is if Bond decided to watch that interrogation tape. Then it stands to reason that Eva Green would have filmed a cameo appearance, but of course with it taking place prior and/or during the events of Casino Royale. Similar to Judi Dench's brief cameo in SPECTRE.

It would be awful if they tried to retcon her into still being alive.

That, or (perhaps more far fetched) Safin clones or creates a copy of her in some capacity in order to taunt Bond. Although this would be entering total sci-fi/Blade Runner territory.

Given Bonds reaction to the tape in Spectre, I’d say all these Vesper-returns scenarios are extremely far fetched. I hope they don’t have her back. Where does this rumour come from anyways?

Or maybe Rami's character is influenced by Dr. No but isn't referred to as Dr. No.

It does seem that way.....though the person who told me seemed convinced he isn’t actually Dr No.

Both @marketto007 and @antovolk can attest to my reliability.

Personally I feel the experiment to bring back an iconic character flopped in SP. everyone prefers seeing original villains surely? I always admired the franchise for not bringing back iconic baddies over and over again - instead preferring to invent new characters . We don’t need a rebooted oddjob or jaws.

Songs not in completion are not sung on the Oscars................. wait for next year.

Funny thing is that Oscar noms are typically from films released quite recently, given that studios reserve all their potential award winning films for "Awards Season". So if Eilish's song is nominated it'll have been nearly a whole year since it was out.

Here's an interesting thing - what appears to be a new official synopsis from Universal Pictures Germany. The first to go quite considerably beyond just a rudimentary translation of the existing of 'peaceful life in Jamaica' one we got at the start of production:

    Google translate:

"Actually, James Bond (Daniel Craig) with his great love Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux) wanted to enjoy his retirement and finally lead a normal life. But when he thinks she has been cheated on, love is over. And his old friend, CIA agent Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) brings him back to his old life. He needs Bond's help to save a kidnapped scientist (David Dencik). But the mission turns out to be rather insidious and Bond soon has to learn that the dangerous and mysterious Safin (Rami Malek) is pulling the strings in the background and has dangerous new technology. For the last time Bond has to face his opponents of Specter and also recognize that Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) himself still has influence from inside the prison. He cannot master these opponents alone and so he needs the help of the new double zero agent Nomi (Lashana Lynch) and the CIA agent Paloma (Ana de Armas)."

That's Google translate for you. It does actual literal translations and doesn't take context or turns of phrase into account.

The rest seems to be pretty correct overall. There is no new information here anyway.

Yeah it almost feels like it’s been written by someone who’s only seen the trailer :)
