Joker won 2 Oscars: Best Actor and Best Original Score.

Probably the two most outstanding aspects of the film.

So there are rumors of a joker 2 and with Batman showing up either played by Ryan Gosling or Bradley Cooper...

Am I the only one who would prefer a solo Batman film with either actor over Robert Pattinson?

Parasite definitely deserved it, but glad to see Joaquin still getting his award.

I personally am standing by Robert Pattinson. I saw The Lighthouse recently and it's such a nuance and visceral performance that I can't help but think he's gonna do a great job. People should also check out Remember Me, Good Time, High Life and Damsel.

As for the Joker, I think it depends what they do it with it and if it gets tied to the Pattinson universe, because right now we don't know how these work in the grander scheme of the franchise. Is this new Batman an older version of the one in Joker, or a young Ben Affleck, maybe both? Or he's just a new incarnation, and each of these universes is it's own elseworlds story.

But it would mean never seeing Rob, Margot, Gal, Jason and Joaquin together. It would also mean if they connected them all, that Jared Leto's Joker is kind of just a future attempt at being Joker, making Joaquin's Joker the OG who just inspired other people to become the Joker.

I could care less about spoilers how is black mask and zsasz different from their comic book portrayal

I’d say they got their twisted darkness and ruthlessness correct, but they were largely reimagined to fit the film’s style. I mostly know Black Mask to simply be a classic brutal mobster. At his core, Ewan’s Black Mask fit that bill but his eccentric personality and fashion sense really take center stage. As for Zsasz, he was Roman’s right hand man and possibly lover. I feel both of their characters didn’t get their background explored enough.

I like the music, the red lighting is probably taking something away from the suit, certainly a lean looking Batman though they have my attention.

Much better. Couldn't shake the Daredevil comparisons while watching the red tinted one.

    The Masks looks like leather.
    Back to basics.
  • Christ, this looks good.....

I loved the design of the suit during the Snyder run. He certainly wasn't a good storyteller, but he was great when it came to designing iconic costumes. It's probably my favourite. There's a rough, weather-beaten, battle-scarred and resilient about it that I adore. Maybe it's a little too 'macho' and 'bro-y', but who cares.

However, I will always love Christain Bale's Batman. I recently re-watched TDK - I always thought that film belonged to Ledger (and it does). But you forget that Bale spends most of the film under the cowl and gives a really good performance. He emits an animalistic intensity. I bloody love that voice he uses - it's so cool. The suit is more technically proficient. Which is why I like it, but it can b e a little less 'sexy' and 'cool'. It does look like something a stealth solider in the field will be wearing in 20 years time when the US army fork out for Wayne Enterprises tech.

This new look, just seems cool - mainly because it looks more mechanial. Which seems a smart move after the more stylistic Affleck suit and more practical Bale costume. But Pattinson's chin looks good in that cowl and the overall look and tone of the video is to die for.......please give me more!!! I used to think the Nolan films couldn't be topped - I've more than come around to the idea that they can (especially since Todd Philipps's Joker)

If I see Bruce's parents get shot again it automatically makes it worse than BvS.

    I agree.

Those images for some reason made me think of Robocop, but in a very good way.

The suit looks good honestly it does this film is freaking me out because I should be far more excited but I am just well meh about it but let’s talk about the positives

The suit (though slightly fan filmish) looks good and more importantly Pattinson looks good in the suit

The music is great and I hope that is a hint of the new Batman theme as it actually has a melody (I didn’t hate Affleck’s theme but I wasn’t upset when Elfman gave him the Keaton theme to be honest)

The red tinge in the video gives me Thomas Wayne flashpoint vibes which isn’t bad but isn’t great either

    Overall I would say b+

We haven't seen the entire suit yet, there might still be a bat-codpiece!

I don't care about any other DC film other than The Batman at this point.

This looks f-in incredible! The red lighting does give Daredevil vibes, but still - it looks incredible.
