Lots of awesome submissions! Which one was yours @mtm?

The variant on my old three-Craig’s-turning-around one with a gold and blue background. I ran out of time as I had no idea they’d brought the submission date forward until the final day- so I had to do a bit of a bodge! To be honest I think that was a pretty stupid thing to do: who keeps checking the website once you’ve read the brief?

They’re all great but I was hoping a few more of Talenthouse’s usual crowd would enter: I’d have liked to have seen a bit more of the mondo style you get from them (check out the Terminator competition for example). My pick for a winner would be the Saul Bass one- pretty eye-catching and looks uncannily like Craig considering how simple it is.

Had forgot all about the competition! Some really nice submissions on the submissions page. It's surprising however, that several of the designs feature copyrighted material… :-?

Yep and a finilist have not the stamp that was required... What's the point to established rules if you can be selected/finalist even if you not respect it?

And how the hell this is a fanalist one: https://007.talenthouse.com/i/1746/submission/412269/110e6654 ? We know that the jury was composed of the same people that had decided of the ugly, no inspiration, posters of Craig era, so I didn't expect that they would have any taste to select the good ones rather the bad ones, but well...

Didn't notice that! A bit strange to see they weren't so bothered with entries following the submission guidelines. They were pretty clear. Even so, it was a fun competition.

Those are very cool; nice sort of minimalist 70s style which Bond never did at the time, but it works really well.

I'm officially a big fan of your work. Do you have a website? Would love to know how you create these type of posters. I'm a graphic designer by trade and can do illustration, but I don't think I could do anything like this.

A new No Time To Die Artwork from me. It´s a International & US Teaser Poster Release November 2020.
I want to show the difference between the US and International versions in credits. It is interesting to see the criteria under which the PG13 rating was given.

This was my submission for the Talenthouse creative brief. I had no intention of participating originally (why start the submission period just before Christmas?), but as I knew I'd feel bad for not making something, I decided to make this minimalistic one during the last two evenings before the deadline. At least I got the chance to make something a bit different from what I've ever done before, which is good practise.

That's very gorgeous. I didn't spot that in the submissions- it's genuinely one of my favourites straight away!

Thanks, @mtm! There are many submissions on that submissions page, so you would have to scroll a bit to find it, haha!

Just noticed they've put out a thank you note as well:
A THANK YOU NOTE FROM THE HOST

'A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this James Bond Creative Brief. We are delighted with the quality and variety of work submitted and how Daniel Craig’s Bond films have been celebrated! We are excited to announce the Selected Creators & Finalists.'

So here's a thing...finally made an 'original' trailer for NTTD. Probably the last thing I'll make until the marketing campaign restarts and new footage arrives:

Just been looking at the Talenthouse entries: how beautifully drawn is this one by Juanjo Macías? Stunning talent there. The composition perhaps isn't the strongest but I love the art.

Special mention to this one because he seems to have actually traced over my old NTTD fanart! :D

Really amazing art from the community! Would be nice to be able to buy one or two of these as actual posters... providing the money went to the original artists. ;)
