NTTD is a direct sequel of SP with many returning characters. The bigger the gap between the two films, the worse NTTD will perform and the less relevant it will be. A 5 year gap is already big enough, and I don't think they can afford a fourth delay. There have to be discussions about a VOD release if they won't be able to release it in theaters this year.

Pity they are not working on B26. At this rate, they could release NTTD with B26 a few months later
I'm guessing Babs and Michael have their eyes open 24/7 and a map filled with pot

A map full of pot? Sounds like something for a Pineapple Express sequel!

You both said that Bond 26 is not being worked on right now.
Troy said it was a pity that it wasn't being worked on. Denbigh didn't.
Thank you for clarifying @NickTwentyTwo, and haha @QBranch :D

Not knowing who the next Bond actor will be, the only question is...

Will they write the script for Daniel Craig, or Roger Moore?

It depends what the outcome of coronavirus is I think. Otherwise the trend was going sillier in films I think, Kingsman being an example, and I think they would have skewed more fun and goofy with the next bond actor. However like 9/11 changed Hollywood to be more serious, I’m not sure how Hollywood might be changed when it opens back up. It could end up giving us another serious bond.

Also do we think Campbell will return for B26 to launch the new actor?

Since we have nothing to talk about. Two hired companys listed on NTTD's IMDB-page.

Blind - computer graphics design and animation. Here's their work in Skyfall

    https://www.blindltd.com/skyfall (showreel)

They also worked on Casino and way back on Die Another Day

    ---

    Monkeyshine - www.monkeyshine.london/

NO TIME TO DIE (2020) - Dir: Cary Joji Fukunaga
Produced Storyboards and Animatics for various sequences throughout the film
    Employed Feb - June 2019

I'd like to see Nolan, Villeneuve or Soderbergh.

For the soundtrack, my dream is Ennio Morricone, a real Maestro.

    The song performed by Jamiroquai.

Honestly the team for Bond 25 (CF, Linus, Zimmer, Phoebe, etc) is as good as I can imagine.

I’m really hoping for Dennis Villeneuve to direct at some point though 😍

With a re-boot, I can see Nolan wanting to do it. But I can also see Nolan not getting along with Babs. Not that either of them are difficult people, but Nolan may want more creative control and leeway then she'd prefer. And after the debacle with with Danny Boyle, EON will be a little more gunshy with directors who have "big plans."

That said, I would love for Nolan or Villeneuve to do it.

No matter where and who with next time James Bond goes, let’s just hope they don’t bring Neal Purvis and Robert Wade with them! When Martin Campbell did CR, he tried to fire them, for not strong material. Paul Haggis did the script as we like it.

Interesting point. AIDS toned down sexual behaviour, 9/11 toned down ‘jokey’ terrorist violence. What will be the impact of COVID? Less international travel? Hopefully, be good to see him sticking around in one or two countries like Connery, rather than the globetrotting picture postcard of Moore.

I´d expect lots of wide aspect ratios, so everybody can keep distance.

It's Léa Seydoux's birthday today, and Greg Williams published a new still of her from the set in Matera

Wow-- she's really beautiful. Something I always knew, but; sometimes a still like this comes out and her interesting and sensual features can stop Time.

@peter Fully agree. I have the full set of stills with her from that photoshoot but they're are all watermarked. So it's nice to see the official still so to speak

I used to think that @Pierce2Daniel was full of it and that a 4th delay was impossible. Considering that there were over 50 THOUSAND new cases in the US yesterday, I am not so sure anymore.

Here is the weird thing (and I am not writing this as a means of denying the seriousness of the virus) but despite these numbers going up, the death rate is going down. But that might not be the case for much longer, as hospitals reach 100% capacity.

Part of the reason hospitals are filling are the patients that delayed treatment, and can now go to a hospital to be treated.

With that, admitted patients are tested and positives are reported as hospitalizations associated with the coronavirus regardless of why they went to a hospital. As with other reports of positives, there is rarely detail for asymptomatic, symptoms exhibited, treatment for symptoms, numbers on ventilators. And test positives are automatically associated with reported deaths, again without detail for whether an individual was asymptomatic, etc. and died of other cause(s). Even so, death rates seem to trend downward.

This is the No Time To Die Production discussion so I'll stop there.
