  Ilya Salkind's original Superman 3 storyline. I don't know what too think, but I do know that Richard Donner wanted to use Brainiac and Supergirl at some point during his time. Richard Pryor was wanted for Brainiac, Dudley Moore for Mr. Mxyzptlk.

  Superman has never recovered from Richard Donner and HIS crew leaving. Zack Snyder I knew was always going to be polarizing. My fears escalated when I realized General Zod and Kryptonians were the only villains he had planned. He moved Superman back as much as Bryan Singer did. One of the reasons I feel is lack of the use of the villains from his rouges gallery. It’s either Lex Luthor, General Zod and Kryptonians, a combination of the two in BvS’ Doomsday, or made up villains. That’s one thing that scares me about JJ Abrams being involved: his non-faithful script that was almost made, and still could be and a lack of villains not used before continued not to be used. Hey Warner Bros and DC: want to make Superman relevant again? Give him a new threat, based on his rich 80+ years comic book history.

  Yeah why not give Brainiac, Parasite or Atomic Skull a whirl? They're interesting sci-fi villains.

  Give it up ZS, you should have had Brainiac in MOS. He always seems to be changing his mind. First, it’s Metallo, then Joker and Riddler. I understand that movies are a business, but the positive legacy that Zack Snyder has left at DC is Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

  Just get Superman right please DC! Give Henry Cavill a proper standalone sequel. The DCEU has failed big time so please stop wasting time trying to compete with Marvel.

  Back in the days in 2013 Snyder wanted to make a MoS direct sequel with Brainiac as the main villain, titled Man of Tomorrow. By the end of the film he wanted to introduce Bruce Wayne (not Batman) but when this character’s name came into discussion WB decided to make a VS movie speeding up the process to get the Justice League team. Snyder also said that his JL3 would’ve been a super centric Superman film.

  That's fantastic. Batman may have been the more popular of the DCAU titles, but their Superman series was a pretty damn excellent adaptation of what Superman was post-Crisis.

  Just a matter of time. BTAS may have been the stuff of legends, but STAS was a terrific show in its own right. While it never reached the heights of BTAS in my opinion, it was a more consistently excellent series.
