I have the original one with Dr No to Spectre might have to update!!
“I don’t want to play characters who don’t feel. I can cry at anything if in the moment”
We catch up with Daniel Craig in the September issue of Candis magazine who is looking to the future after 15 years as James Bond.
Does anyone have any idea what the (Trl U) means after the title of the film? The first trailer had a (Trl H) after it.

It’s very interesting to see it labeled as U as it signifies it’s “Universal” and suitable for all putting it in the same box with The Little Mermaid - possibly they still haven’t given it an adequate classification level.
I believe it's been rated for quite some time, since the start of the year at least - most likely a 1 min version of the initial Dec 2019 trailer (which I know is playing in some places). Not the new trailer that's expected soon.
And the reason why it's rated U - that is indeed its rating - it's perfectly normal for trailers to be specially cut to be lower rated than the main film itself - so it can play with more films in cinemas. There is also a Trailer-PG there (a PG cutdown). Those two are labels specifically connected to their ratings (indicating they are specially-made edits to achieve said rating). But usually Universal labels their trailers sequentially by letters - so the first Dec 2019 trailer was Trailer A, Trailer B we don't know if it exists but Trailer C is a 1 minute version that some countries' cinemas got...the Sept 2020 trailer is Trailer H, and there's a shortened version of that as well that's Trailer I.
Nice choices, and with 25 they fit on the page well! :)
I think I'd swap out the FRWL, GF, LTK, CR and SF ones for their (UK?) alternatives though. I don't even really prefer the blue version of LTK, but it just feels more like the proper one to me.
Ready for another month of "will they won't they"!
Here we go again. How much do you want to bet they tweet “ No Time To Die April 2022”
I believe I said that two delays ago. :)
My daughter was born a week before CR premiered.
She starts high school next week. #-o
I've yet to see a Bond in theaters, so I'm not too worried about waiting for the Blu-ray. I just hope those who are more comfortable with the pandemic can see the movie this year. We could be dealing with this for a few more years. Might as well bite the bullet now.
Never seen a Bond film in a theater?!?!?!..................................makes my head spin.
I've dealt with anxiety for 15 years and have nobody to go with. Never met a Bond fan in person sadly. Even my wife deals with anxiety issues. Last time we went to the theater we had to walk out halfway through the movie because she was having an anxiety attack.
Someday I will see one in theater. But it probably won't be this one.
Same here! Strange to think Craig has been Bond her whole life! By the time I started my
Senior year of high school, they were on the third Bond during my lifetime (Pierce).
I imagine a lot of the GenZ/Zoomer generation will feel exactly that way about Craig.
Because of the Delta less people want to go to the movies, as that quote from the Variety article revealed, but if you add to the equation that by October in a lot of States won’t be even possible to enter a theater without a vaccine certification…
I’m very worried regarding NTTD’s performance in the US.
in a lot of Europe as well. But the drop in confidence due to Delta isn't as low as it was even last year... (only down by 5-10 or so % I believe, from around 80, and last year we were in the 50s-60s), and the more people get vaccinated the more people can go. And my thoughts are that for a film like Bond people are far more likely to jump through the hoops of the vaccine certification than for anything smaller (or available simultaneously at home).
Yes hopefully all this certification restrictions will force people to outcome their fears and get the vaccine. People need to understand that in our society a vaccination means freedom, not the contrary. For EoN it’s important to find a way to get regular audiences super hyped again and that’s something I feel a lot of recent blockbusters kinda failed to achieve.
Yeah, I feel like maybe I look in the wrong places, but films don't feel like they've been hyped as much recently? And I'd have thought they'd have really gone for it.
I feel they got much lazier with their poster designs as the years went on.
Yep. QoS onwards have been especially lacking. The SF one isnt too bad but the featured SP and NTTD are poor.
Have you been vaccinated?
