I've just received my Corgi NTTD DB5 today. Very nicely detailed and the battle damage is very nicely done. I thought the Hot Wheels one was good, this one is even better!

1/18 No Time To Die DB5 from Round 2 but they didn't include the guns behind the headlights. A missed opportunity. Would've been the selling point of the model. https://007store.com/collections/james-bond-new-arrivals/products/james-bond-aston-martin-db5-model-car-no-time-to-die-edition-by-round-2

I'll pass since I already have the Hot Wheels Elite DB5 which at least have working gadgets.

It's basically just my Sun Star if I added new number plate stickers. Pass!

Still, always nice to see a new model roll out.

Its 2021 and models of this price range shouldn't have huge visible hinges like that..

Compared to the non visible hinges of the Hot Wheels Elite DB5. A bit of detail like that just makes it a bit more realistic.

A couple of things to compliment the car: sunnies and driving gloves

Good Question. But is Daniel Craig ever going to drive it? In those trailers it only seen in Q plane.

Yeah seems it won't be driven, just a background prop in the wind tunnel.

Spotted a Johnny Lightning DB5 (blister card) on ebay - second release after the Vantage - the only one I've seen and it got snapped up pretty quick.

Yeah. But hardly noticeable in person and doesn't really bother me. Looks magnificent on display.

Because they are changing the scale to 1/12 which would be bigger and much more detailed.

Yeah it's a bit of a dealbreaker for me, really spoils it.

I photoshopped it earlier in the thread with bigger tyres (same wheels, but spaced out to the arches a bit more) plus a silver sill which it really needs and I think it looks so much better. If I could find tyres this size I'd do it.

See there you go. It'll never be a great model but it would have made it much better.

THIS IS A PHOTOSHOPPED IMAGE: THE TOY DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THIS

You could more or less do this yourself: it just requires finding bigger tyres and spacing the wheels out more, I didn't increase the size of the wheels. And painting the doorsill makes such a difference.

I think it's a shame it didn't get mirrors when the other updated cars in this range did. The increased detailing is really nice otherwise- and they even got rid of the sunroof, very good!
