    Yes, QOS is a gem. I’m glad some are coming around to it years later because it’s awesome and unique as the only shorter one in Craig’s era. My guess is I will hopefully enjoy NTTD more than SP, but probably not more than the first 3.

    It's really just the M office scene that grates on me, not keen on his approach there. I kind of want to root for Denbigh. That whole scene is uncomfortable to watch, much like when Q belittles R in front of Bond.

    Preparing for NTTD, watched CR and QOS back to back yesterday. What a ride. CR is such a classic. And I feel QOS improves with age. There is a lot of great stuff in there. SF and SP today.

    Yes, I love to see so much love for QOS! I just rewatched pieces of it to prep for an ecocritical discussion for a college course coming up.

    Also love to see many rewatching the Craig films in preparation for the grand finale. There’ll definitely be a weight to each of them unlike any other time as I go through them before one final fresh outing. So excited!

    I've always really, really liked TWINE but I've just had easily the most enjoyable experience I've ever had while watching it. When all is said and done, it'll likely, barely miss my Top 10.

    Being James Bond
    Just watched this documentary on the Daniel Craig era. Absolutely superb. Directed by Baille Walsh, its a beautifully put together film, starting with Craigs screentest for CR, and going through each of his movies, narrated by Craig, Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson. My only quibble is they are a bit harsh on QOS, though it was nice to hear Daniel say there is some good stuff in it (a lot if you ask me!) Brings it right up to NTTD, and if you are not moved by the final speech on set after the final shot, by Craig, then you need to check yourself for a pulse! Well worth checking out, hope its released on NTTDs blu ray release!

    For good order's sake, and just to be prepared for NTTD, I rewatched SPECTRE for probably the first time since 2016. I still hated the Bloberhauser nonsense and would appreciate if it never appeared again in the future, but disregarding that I must say I liked SP better than I remembered. A nice and dark noir/thriller-like story supported by a fitting musical store. I'd say 8/10, on par with some of the better entries of the franchise, like OHMSS and TLD.

    Going to put on YOLT here soon. Probably my last non-Craig Bond film until sometime after NTTD, as I've secured tickets for CR at my theater for this Friday, and I'll have to space out QOS, SF, and SP at home before NTTD drops.

    My partner likes the Craig movies so introduced her to OHMSS (arguably one of the best classic Bonds).

    She's not a classic Bond fan but really liked Tracy, which goes to show how ahead of its time that character really was.

    Got to live out a longtime dream by seeing CR at the theater tonight. It was a magical experience as I expected; it really stood out to me just how many things they got so right, and how insanely high they set the bar. Was emotional hearing Cornell’s awesome song. Definitely thought about Madeleine when Bond and Vesper have dinner after Bond wins the poker game. Also weird to think about Mr. White in hindsight with all that happens down the road. Spacing apart each Craig film by three days until NTTD! QOS Monday, SF Thursday, SP Sunday, then the new one Wednesday.

    @FoxRox Glad you finally got to watch CR at the cinema. I also missed out on that one, but was fortunate enough to view all four Craig films at the cinema earlier this year. Getting to see, what is considered by most (including myself) to be one of the absolute best quality Bond films on the big screen was the most surreal feeling. I actually kept pulling myself out of the film to check it was really happening. Cornell's theme song was just one of several moments that wowed me - goosebumps kind of stuff. What an amazing experience.

    QOS, from the comfort of home. Such a lovely, underrated sophomore effort from Craig. He is fabulous the whole way, and honestly I’ve come to love almost every element of it. The score is a big highlight. 2 down, 3 to go! SF on Thursday.

    Just watched FYEO… Man I remember that movie being so much better. Those later Moore films aged the worst out of any of the series IMO. They still have moments and scenes I love, but yeesh.

    Watched Quantum the night before. That movie doesn’t deserve the hate it gets. Yes, it’s plot is a bit thin, but I look at it as the cinematic equivalent of a bond short story.

    SF. What a brilliant Bond film - I thought of it as an instant classic when it dropped in theaters, and I’ve never stopped adoring it.
    Craig had a brilliant run of three films. Unless I get a serious surprise based on what I know, it looks like NTTD and SP will have marred his era for me. It might be better to prefer thinking of his time as a nice origin trilogy with the first three.

    Endured 1967 Casino Royale, what a bloated mess. I haven't watched this in years.
    In Fact this was only my second time watching it all the way through.

    Have only recently purchased the soundtrack album, and its wonderfully entertaining! Much more than the movie, although there are sections I really like!

    I’ve finally come to the end of my Bondathon (until Thursday) with SP. This film is incredibly powerful in how bloated and terrible it is, an inconsistent, messy slog with virtually nothing on offer despite how much it costs. Amazing.

    Just a solid Bond film with 007 on a standalone mission. I forgot how much I miss those...😁

    SP. A pretty enjoyable watch on the whole honestly, given all the issues I have, most of all with that rough third act. Easily my least favorite of Craig’s first four, but has lots I still like, as do all Bond films even in my lower tier. Really hoping NTTD doesn’t take its place at the bottom for me on Wednesday.

    In Preparation for NTTD, SP. What a chore . It only reaffirms why it sits firmly at the bottom of my rankings.

    One thing that stood out with this viewing is, with a couple of exceptions, is how terribly Daniel is photographed. This film did him no favors. From what I've seen of NTTD, this is one thing that's been corrected.

    Agreed with you both. Always enjoyed TWINE and didn't understand the hate it gets. Also, it has a most poignant (and final) Desmond Llewellyn Q scene, and the comedy with R was hilarious. It's a must watch during all my Bond marathons.

    I love TWINE as well. It was my first Bond film, I’ll always have a soft spot for it.

    I've placed the films in my own fan fiction order to mix up my next Bondathon, just finished GE. Haven't watched that one properly for about 3 years, I'd forgotten just how good it is. Very enjoyable and I think Brosnan nailed it at the first attempt. I think his line delivery and some of his facial expressions are very good, quite subtle at times and he comes across pretty tough in this.
