Of course I'm open to criticism! Thanks for the comment! =) My thought with that part is that it is not supposed to be sophisticated, it's supposed to be in your face. The rest of theme is the sophisticated part, at least that's my view of it.
  • Nice work Otto! I know you are one of the go-to guys for scoring fan films. Quality.

Here is the full score for the short film!
I hope you like it! =)

  • Hello, this is my first post but have browsed the site many times. I'm a lifelong Bond fan (since the age of 6 or 7, I'm now 30) and wanted to introduce myself as I'm hoping to entertain you all with something that hasn't faired particularly well on YouTube.

I make little films using Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and two of my favourites are Bond themed. They are both on YouTube but as various bits of Bond music are used, it got a copyright flag so I don't think it's very visible. They've each barely had 30 views but were published 1-3 years ago!

So I thought I'd wave hello on here and see if anyone fancies sparing 10 minutes to have a look at what I worked so passionately on, but has been seen by so few! There are many limitations to what I could do with the game and editors but bear with me. (Warning for some sight of blood during gunfights).

Let's start with "Spy Another Day"

If all goes well I'll put a link for the next one (although you'll find it on my channel)

    Enjoy!

    Elliott

Yes it is a fan-edit, but this is one of my most favorite works ever, Bond drives around New York City and ends up in a crash-collision vehicle pursuit, before being escapable to the stage in New York City to promote the Land Rover.

Hey everyone. I've uploaded earlier today this new video as a tribute to the James Bond games.

I've recently finished a James Bond playthrough series on my Youtube Channel, showcasing full gameplay videos for every single Bond game since Goldeneye, and I've started it with Tomorrow Never Dies back in January.

So, I couldn't miss the chance to pay tribute to all of them. This video is all about the good times, the nostalgia, the history, the great memories, and all the fun we had with them. They all had their flaws, but that's part of it. After all, this video is all about the world's best secret agent being put in the hands of game players.

It's called 'Damn You, Bond'. I hope you guys enjoy it!

This gunbarrel idea for QoS is loads of fun :)

I saw that the other day; the freeze frame into the credits that we get in the actual film pisses me off and the movie's gunbarrel - for which being at the end of the film is the LEAST of its problems - is the worst ever made. I have contended since the first time I saw QoS that THIS ^ should have ALWAYS been the way it was done. Maybe it isn't Craig's full body in the shot and so it verges on playing with the gunbarrel a touch TOO much; but other than just opening the damned film with the thing, that's the best we could have gotten and I would have loved to see it in the actual film. A nice bookend to Casino Royale as well.

It remains my favorite James Bond-related edit on YT. So good.

This may be somehow new for most 007 fans, but I finally learned how to green screen a specific Bond actor (especially Brosnan), this was a little test I did, I cannot actually make the whole thing fyi, it was made for fun.

The green screen may be a little weird.

Good stuff! I like to see the QoS title sequence opening as the gunbarrel itself, albeit uniquely delivered, in that the sun forms the gunbarrel and Bond fires his shot at it. It doesn't line up like a proper gunbarrel or anything (since it's overlong and the bullet ends up striking the sand) but it's fun to think about.

An interesting fan-made scene for DIE ANOTHER DAY in which Bond is looking at previous assigments.
