Damn this is really awesome. Glad i found this.

Last 007 game i played was Bloodstone. It's pretty much the only Bond game i play nowadays. And GE64 occasionally.

Have to start playing The Duel. That one has been on my to do list for ages.

I have been playing and enjoying James Bond the Duel and thanks to modern technology I can save and pick up from a save slot. I will say (though I haven't beaten it I am on mission 3) (the Mayday Level) but I am surpised when people talk of nostalgic gaming this DOESN'T get a mention

fun game enjoyable game play pushes what I view the limits of Sega genesis to even provide a bit of Stealth play like I said the game is fun

Dalton featuring as Bond alone is enough for me to get somewhat eager to play it. Is it possible to play it on a pc?

I realized I never answered this yes if you use a Sega Genesis Emulator... So I think I will start with James bond the duel in the new year and go through each game (or at least try to) so it would go

    James Bond The Duel
    Goldeneye N64
    James Bond 007 Game Boy
    Tomorrow Never Dies
The World is not enough PS1
The world is not enough N64
The world is not enough Game boy
    007 Racing
    Agent Under Fire
Night Fire (ps2 though i might try and find the PC version and I might play the gameboy version)
Everything or Nothing (same as above I might play the gameboy version)
    Goldeneye Rogue Agent
    From russia with love
    Quantum of Solace PS2
Quantum of Solace xbox 360 (maybe the NDS version)
    Goldeneye Reloaded
Bloodstone (maybe the NDS version for this and goldeneye)
    007 Legends
    Goldfinger 64
    Tomorrow Never Dies 64
The Spy who loved me n64
and finally by the time all of that is beaten my guess is Project 007 wil not only be named but released so
    Project 007

I got Goldfinger 64 on my original Nintendo 64. Highly recommended, available on Amazon. Beware: you need the N64 expansion pack to play it. If you want the true sequel to Goldeneye 007, this is it.

  • i played a 1985 Commodore 64 game called 007 Spy Chase. I think it was unofficial and homemade, and it is not very good.

Got around to redownloading Goldeneye: Source (the counterstrike mod), and it’s a lot of fun. Classic guns and levels all recreated really well.

It’s been years unfortunately but I believe the last one I played was Blood Stone or maybe GoldenEye: Reloaded. Both were great games and if they would put them on PSN I’d buy them and play the hell out of them!
  • Bumping up this thread here because I’ve decided to go through all the mainline Bond games starting with Goldeneye 64. Playing this one on my PC using the 1964 Emulator with mouse and keyboard support. So far it’s been very fun, and dare I say I’m enjoying the game more on PC than on the Series X?

I am unable to play Nightfire and Agent Under Fire currently as don't have a PlayStation though looking to pick up one cheap. I played them on PlayStation when originally released along with EON. I never owned The World is not Enough.

The games I have were mostly bought in the last year as wanted to revisit them. I sold all my previous Bond games years ago. Thankfully I held on to my 360 which has enabled me to replay most of them.
  • I’ve only held onto my consoles for so long just so I can purely keep playing the Bond games I own, though earlier in the year I invested in a Gaming PC, so now I can just emulate most of the Bond titles up to at least the PS2 generation. It can run 360 Games on XENIA, but crashes every so often, so when I get to those titles I’ll probably just play them on console. As far as the Bond games that I own, well here we go;

    •Goldeneye 64
    •TND
    •TWINE (for both N64/PS1)
    •007 Racing
    •Agent Under Fire
    •Nightfire
    •Everything or Nothing
    •Goldeneye Rogue Agent
    •From Russia With Love
    •QOS (for both 360/PS2)
•Blood Stone (for both 360/NDS - and incidentally the only Bond game I have yet to play!)
    •Goldeneye Reloaded
    •007 Legends

Plus I have a Series X, and a Modded 360 as well, so I’ve got the official Goldeneye Re-Release, and the leaked XBLA remaster on my Modded 360.

What can I say, I fancy myself a bit of a completist.

I think that's the emulator I have too. A little bit of clipping here and there, but graphics are as sharp as you'll get. From memory, some of the weapon and/or item colours were off a bit. Game is fun enough with keyboard and mouse, but have an N64 USB controller to try out next time I visit this game.

I own all the games post-GE64, but have ventured a little into acquiring the older games, with AVTAK on cassette complete with puffy nylon case, and recently bought LALD for ZX Spectrum which is the cassette in regular acrylic case. I don't own the consoles for these older games, just buying them to complete the collection.

I fired up my PSP (the launch model from 2005, still in amazing shape and working perfectly), and fired up From Russia With Love.

It’s amazing that they managed to get the game working on PSP, although without the driving levels, and I think some other levels cut too, along with gameplay tweaks (the grapple feature is a cutscene on PSP, not sure if it is that way on the console version).

The resolution is low and the frame rate is (to be generous) sub optimal, but it is playable, and a surprisingly good time.

Personally I haven’t encountered any of the issues you’ve mentioned, but my guess is that they’ve updated the software. My collection is FAR from complete, but I’m pretty satisfied with the titles that I own. Anything else I want to play can just be emulated for me really.

    Deleted sorry wrong thread.
  • Finished my first playthrough of Blood Stone. Aside from the vehicle sections, I had a blast with the game. I regret not playing this one sooner, I was too caught up in the hype for the Goldeneye remake that I think I may not have given this one a fair chance. I can see why many think this is one of the best Bond games, I certainly agree with that assessment.

For many years now, I've wanted an older TV and an N64 so I could go back and play my actual favorite Bond game of my childhood, TWINE, but also finally beat the main story (that underwater sub level was too much for me as a kid). I got all of them in the last few weeks so I only needed the game. I figured eBay was my only option these days, but somehow, I went to a little thrift shop yesterday and voila, they not only had it but it was at a really great price. I NEVER have this kind of luck, I was walking on air the rest of the day. Can't wait to try it out today.

I just replayed it on Secret Agent. My memory card broke, and I lost the previous data. In some ways I like TWINE on N64 better than GE. As long as I have an N64, TWINE (and GE), will both be a part of the collection. Other N64 classics I will not sell are Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Smash Bros and The Mario Party trilogy, just to name a few.

GE was the classic out of the two but I recall soooo many nights where my best friend at the time and I would stay up all night playing split screen against bots, 2v2. I'm stupidly excited to try that again, just for the nostalgia of revisiting all of them.
