Perish is an interesting word, with lots of possibilities. it can mean die, especially in a violent or sudden way. Or to rot or decay. or to be suffering from extreme cold. And yet perisher means a mischievous child or rascal.

Good line of thought you have going there.

I quite like 'Perisher'... Decent descriptive one word titles are tough.

    'Tenterhook' ?

That's nice, I can imagine Fleming going for that :-bd

Good for a henchman name at the very least!

I think someone already said this but The Death Collector should have gotten serious consideration, instead of NTTD.

    The Stars Foretell

As i have a feeling Bond 26 will be a loose adaption of The Man with the golden gun

However Bond versus an assassin this chapter title from You Only live Twice could work

    The Death Collector

again adding horror elements with bond facing this almost mythical assassin called The Death Collector

I love the whole Death Collector concept. That would work for me. Plus the title is fantastic. Especially with a dark, gritty, cold blooded, Fleming style Bond in Tom Hardy. Where’s my ticket?

It sounds a bit like an Austin Powers title.

    RUSSIAN ROULETTE

    ONCE UPON A SPY

    THE DEATH COLLECTOR

They could double down and call it 'Death Is Not Forever'. There might have to be a shark to jump over in the PTS, though.

"Commander Bond" would work for me, taking a new origin story approach focusing on his naval career before being recruited MI6.

Yes, it's unoriginal, but I think it would work for that type of angle and the start of a new Bond timeline.

If they are going in this direction then; "James Bond of the Secret Service" would make the most sense. It is the title of the screenplay Fleming and McClory had for the script that would eventually become Thunderball and Never Say Never Again.

I think if you absolutely had to have a 'Jason Bourne'-style title where his name is the name of the film, then Commander Bond is probably the coolest-sounding version, I agree with @Tokoloshe2

IMHO what you and your girl friend get up to in the bedroom doesn't necessarily make a good title for a Bond movie...
