2. Spectre. Never really understood the kicking this one got. Okay yeah, the Madeline romance is underdeveloped, Brofeld was a misstep, and his actually quite clever and timely scheme isn’t given the weight it deserved. But it’s still a beautifully crafted, effortlessly stylish and all round fun adventure, that finally figured out you can have a human, fleshed out Bond without gutting the series of its iconography. The only thing I really don’t like is Newman’s score.
3. Skyfall. I agree with @NickTwentyTwo. As brilliant as it was at the time, I don’t think there’s all that much rewatch value. It’s more of a cinema sort of film, which I don’t think is a bad thing, because that first viewing was so good. Plus apart from the plot holes, you can’t really fault it as a film. It’s got the best cinematography of the series, the best villain of the Craig era, a gut punch of an ending, an insane amount of thematic consistency, and it’s brilliantly acted. But there’s just something a bit smug and pretentious about it imo, that makes it lose its rewatch value.
4. Casino Royale. I just can’t love it, no matter how much I respect it. There’s tons of brilliant stuff going on, but I think it’s just too bloated. A lot of the Bahamas feels superfluous, and I prefer the ending of the book to the sinking house. If it had the sheer style of the Mendes movies and NTTD, then maybe its length would’ve worked. But I think Campbell’s direction is pretty workman like. Which works very well for a tight little thriller, but if I’m going to be sat down for a big, two and a half hour epic, then I want it to look epic.
6. Quantum of Solace. My least favourite Bond film. Looks stylish, when you can actually tell what’s going on, but the way it hurtles you through multiple underdeveloped subplots in all those different locations (while making time for multiple pointless chase scenes, because omg they represent the elements guys it’s so deep) means I can’t even give it points for that style imo. Because the film is so incoherent that the glossy, art housey stuff just seems like them desperately trying to cover the cracks for me. Style over substance, and there actually could have been some substance if they’d just let the film bloody breathe (but the same director who bought you the stupid elements idea also wanted his film to be “like a bullet”). And I hated, hated how they dragged out the origin story. I’ve come round to the idea of Bond begins, now that I’ve seen the whole Craig era. It was cool having a complete story that covered his whole career. But we’d done the origins with CR. Bond James Bond, cue theme song, roll credits. Why they decided to drag it out with a direct sequel that tries to have its cake and eat it too (“I never left”, but also the gunbarrel is at the end to symbolise the end of him becoming Bond) is beyond me.
I’ve read a few comments here that say there’s a GF esque standalone film missing between QoS and SF, which I get. We went straight from rookie Bond to old man Bond. But I don’t think there’s a film missing. They just made the wrong film. QoS didn’t need to exist. Bond didn’t really let go of Vesper until NTTD anyway, and he’d already found a coping mechanism with “the bitch is dead”. Craig’s second film should’ve been a stand alone mission. I know we ended the last film with him confronting Mr White, but why not just have Bond off on a mission investigating a lead he got from him? Why pick up exactly where we left off and drag out the Vesper story?
I can sort of see why. All the ingredients of the formula are there, but they flipped the traditional structure on its head, and even the big finale has those two massive twists. I loved that about the film personally. There was enough old school Bond stuff to satisfy the fanboy in me, but they used those elements to create something that felt fresh and unconventional enough to be worthy of the five year wait for Craig’s return. But I think some people just wanted Bond on a mission with the traditional structure in place (I’d like that too next time, but for Craig’s last one it would’ve been very disappointing, imo).

Overall I think Daniel has had a great era and I love that we got some closure. It’s going to be a daunting task to take over from him.
2. Tie between Spectre and No Time to Die. The former has a bit more entertainment value, the latter is a better constructed film.

I’m in your camp on this one. The same top 3 anyway, maybe in a different order for me though. I’d also put QOS just behind those three and I’d definitely put SF last as well.

I was ready to dismiss DC's era (not because of the man himself, just the creative direction, it's no secret that I'm not a fan of how Babs has handled her 'reign'...).
Spectre was flawed, sure, but at least I had some fun watching it, some of the 007 buzz was back.
That ranking actually suits me quite well too, and I love the DC era; interesting.
I quoted this in particular because it's a sentiment that I hadn't thought about initially but is absolutely true for me as well. With the exceptions of Lazenby and Dalton, all of the other long term Bond actors have at least a film or two that I just don't care for overall.
That said, I find no Bond film to be completely unwatchable.
