With that being said, this is our number 20:
SPECTRE
Main title sequence designed by
DANIEL KLEINMAN
The lowest-ranked of the Kleinman titles, SP was represented in four top 10’s: once as #5, thrice as #6 and once as #7.
Four bottom 5’s didn’t do it any favours though, it came in 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, each on one occasion.
In total SP’s main title sequence received 70 points.
Yeah, I had it at six and I agree with all this. Like the film itself, it was a grower for me--the stoic, shirtless Craig and the tentacles everywhere certainly were weird upon first viewing...!
A person in my theatre yelled, "Is this a tentacle porno?". People laughed.
Strangely all of Craig’s title sequences have been rather good. Aside from QOS (for me) and even that’s not really terrible.
A war is brewing in the mod room. ;-)
#5 vs. #26. Time to sharpen my knife, good sir!
The octopus wrapping around the gun is cool.
At least there's a theme in this sequence. Binder often just pasted random images together. And while that isn't necessarily a bad thing, I prefer something with more, shall well say, coherence.

Another Kleinman, this time one from the Brosnan years. With 12 participants ranking it between #15 and #18, it was bound to end up somewhere in the middle.
However, one member gave it the bronze medal, while another one ranked it 9th. At the other side of the spectrum, one bottom 5 was noted, which was a 24th place.
The main title sequence of TND gathered 75 points in total.
Basically this and Vincent Schiavelli are the only good things about this film!!
Always found it hard to read some of the credits though, it’s not always superclear.
I remember from the book Some Kind of Hero that Roger Spottiswoode really annoyed Kleinman for some reason, and that's why his name appeared over pure black.
15 for me, as well! I can agree with this assessment, particularly the X-ray imagery and all the computer bits throughout. It has a nice feel of the "future" and tech for a late '90s film.
