That's it, I'm changing my username here. Everybody confuses me with Thunderfinger 😭😂 No, it's okay. If anything, it's a compliment.

That's what I get for jumping back and forth between work and play here. Apologies, @Thundernose! Oh, wait, sorry, @Thunderbell. Or...

For your new username, I recommend @StirredNotStirred, or @ShakenNotShaken.

I don't think anyone will ever confuse or even emulate my username. Well, there could be a @Dragonpol2 at some point I suppose.

@StirredNotShaken is probably taken. James Bond is just wrong, in my opinion. That's how I like my Vodka Martinis.

Yeah, I was being cheeky. StirredNotStirred and ShakenNotShaken don't exist, but ShakenNotStirred and StirredNotShaken do exist, and are sometimes confused with each other. You would only add to the confusion if you accepted my suggestions!

    It feels like a lifetime.

It really does when you put it in perspective. I saw CR in theaters at the tail end of high school and I saw NTTD as a new father now in my 30s. It's going to get pretty surreal the closer we get to having a new Bond named, knowing it won't be Craig any longer.

Still, I'm excited for the next start. Craig put his definitive stamp on the franchise and I'm also ready to move on with something fresh.

That's a nice way to look at the Craig era. For me, Moore took over as Bond when I began kindergarten and AVTAK was released a week before I graduated high school. He was Bond for my formative years. I could probably compare all the eras to various points of my life and I'm sure a lot of other fans can as well. It's a fun part of being a fan of such a long-running series.

The day Craig was announced as the new Bond (14 October 2005) was my 5th birthday and also my first day of primary school. When NTTD came out last October, I was finishing my third year of university and was just about to turn 21.

I wouldn't say I've got a special attachment to Craig like previous generations do for 'their' Bond. I experienced the series primarily on DVD, so all the actors are 'my' Bond, but he has been the incumbent for the entire time I've been a fan so to now witness my first transition period is a bit strange and a little bit sad. Just reminds you how quickly the years go by, especially as you get older.

Well, not that quickly in the case of Craig as he was the longest-running we've had! Your next one will likely come around even sooner :)

Craig became Bond on my 21st Birthday. I remember the day well and it was nice having a new Bond unveiled on that day as well as coming of age. Of course it was also Roger Moore's birthday too. :)
