I’ll definitely be making dates to skip this, 😂. No interest at all.
I can’t stand “reality” TV…. And as someone said, sounds like all the other competition series that have come before this.
EDIT: I suppose BB & MGW get $$$ to use their names and locations from the Bond pics, and they don’t have to lift a finger for production.
Free money.

If they include motorcycles................he'll be there.
This whole endeavor summed up in one word.
Of all the ways to take more advantage of the brand that, in the past, they have kept a firm hold of, this is what they choose? A reality tv show / game show. Who are they going to get to host it, Rylan Clark-Neal?
Good luck to all involved, but no thanks. This isn't for me.
Yeah it is a very strange decision, but maybe their thinking is, if we have to do TV “spinoffs”, lets keep things as far removed from the films as possible? This is so far removed from the films that there’s no risk of it diluting them, same as James Bond Jr or those slot machines or any of the other weird tie ins they’ve done. Whereas if they did a TV series adapting the Fleming novels or whatever, that would invite comparisons to the films and mean the character is getting more exposure on screen, which could impact the public’s appetite for the films if it was a big enough hit.
I think a series called 006 starring Lashana Lynch would have been better.
It's reassuring to know they're still looking to Austin Powers for guidance on how to move the Bond legacy forward.

Surveillance man: Sir, I think you better take a look at this. Somehow, Kevin McClory has returned.
Kevin McClory (on TV): Bond is mine! Bond is mine you m***********s!
Written by Purvis and Wade? Hell, even pitched by them in some way?
Anything can be true in a hypothetical. A Lashana Lynch starring series would certainly be familiar or similar to what we have now but better is undeterminable at this point. I don’t really understand how this idea is so disliked when fans spend hundreds, if not thousands, to dress, smell, eat, travel, train and look like Bond.
The point still stands that an amazing race-styled show featuring Bond locations, props and iconography is really no different in kind to any 007 branded merchandise. From Bollinger collector bottles to Sideshow Collectibles figurines; from 007 Rum to life-size replicas of the Goldfinger DB5; from video games to role playing games.
Whether you buy this stuff to feel like Bond or represent the franchise or connect to something you love, it’s a difference in scale not kind.
See, I tried doing this once. Then some random guy yelled at me, “You smell like an ashtray! And what’s with the dumb yellow bathrobe? And who brings scrambled eggs to eat at the opera anyway?!” It was then that I realized I could never be James Bond, not even with my impeccable approximation of an Australian accent.
Ok. Cool. I don’t know what to take from that.
Because prior to Disney, the Star Wars franchise would never have sunk so low as to produce mountains of collectible toys, games, books or spin-off media. Prior to Disney that was just unheard of.
And I don't watch reality shows.
I do worry that the EON has lacked strategy in targeting younger audiences in recent years (like the 60s/70s drew kids in with corgi cars, toys, etc and the 90s/00s kids had the video games).
Anything that will generate more buzz of the Bond brand and not water down the actual canon of the film series I am good with!
this is the most funny joke ive seen about this news.
Just wait til you try out the Blue Romper the next time you are in Miami.
