We will get Everything or Nothing eventually...actually, that would have worked well for NTTD.
"A Man Called Seiko" has that old-school pulpy gravitas to it.
And personally, I've been pulling for Craig to play Professor Xavier, not that he'd want to do a big studio franchise again.
Yes it does feel a bit inevitable, doesn't it.
On His Majesty's Secret Service
No, it would not have the same storyline as OHMSS. It would be a new story, set in the present day. Oh, it could use Fleming-subplots, characters, etc. which have not been used, but for a new story.
Oh, my. Sounds like a porn parody title.

Or, after the Beatles tracknames, how about a spin on a Bowie title-
The Man Who Killed The World
I don’t know why but this makes me think it would be interesting to see a Bond plot where the villain succeeds, and Bond has to deal with the aftermath somehow.
-Yes, Bond, now that the bomb went off and millions died, you'll have to spend months filling paperwork to explain this mess.
-This is your mess.
-No, it's your mess. Start with the paperwork or you'll get the boot.
-Then you have my resignation, sir.
Could be fun in a way. Bond fails to file that damned B-107 report before the deadline M gave him, so he is forced to go rogue and cause a power failure in the MI6 building in order to buy more time.
Well, in fairness SF involves Silva succeeding by the end. It probably wouldn't work with a world domination plot, but something a bit more grounded could fit it. It'd have to be made explicit that the consequences of the villain's actions are set in stone/have consequences for MI6 and Bond's job isn't to prevent it but to handle the situation.
Could be anything. To put a spin on an idea I've had in the past (which I guess is not unlike SF in a way) you could have a villain whose main goal is to destroy and 'out' the 00 section, capturing 00 agents, torturing them to reveal secret information before killing them. Maybe at one point in the film he assassinates all of the 00 agents except Bond, and out hero's mission now becomes simply to kill the villain, not to stop him.
