My plans for the Global James Bond Day? I'll take over the globe. Then I'll call the shots on the future of the Bond films. You can spend all the time you want in your little discussion threads, talking obsessively about the producers, Christopher Nolan, period adaptations, Sope Dirisu or whatever...

...doesn't change the fact I'm casting Daniel Radcliffe as Bond in a film adaptation of the classic video game: 007 Racing.

Don't like it? Well, come and get me.

"From the desk of Barbara Broccoli,

Good day Bond fans! Happy Bond Day, our half hearted way to have bond be back in the public eye. As I reflect on the triumph that was Daniel Craig as James Bond I am left with a glowing feeling. I continue to wrestle with a casting of the new Bond it occurred to me that it's too soon to announce a replacement. I am very busy getting the Amazon race show up and running. Michael is off on a beach counting his millions. Purvis and Wade are on retainer and ready to go at a moment's notice. I know you don't want us to rush and I agree. I have held meetings with some directors but no one has grabbed me with their vision. In fact I am not sure that anyone can do what I would like to see Bond to do now. Enjoy a martini, visit shop double-o-7 and purchase some overpriced trinkets. Remember folks, We have all the Time in the World to get a new Bond out."

We're thrilled to announce another bear. Another Bond bear... to take up most of the bed and break all of the bank. This is what the people want. What they've been clamouring for. Move over playground toys and luxury items, the bear essential is here!

We are thrilled to announce a delay in production of the next Bond movie. To the fans we must ask that you grin and bear it. We know that we have barely been away for 2 years since the last film adventure.

In the meantime we invite you to the shop double-o-7 site where you will barely be able to contain your glee at the beautiful merchandise.

From $2000 USD an exquisite teddy bear fashioned after a Fabergé egg. "Property of a Lady" takes on a whole new meaning. This bear was hand stitched by child labor and comes to you with a certificate of authenticity.

Finally how about a $75 USD Bond cook book, learn how to make stuffed sheep head, porridge, quiche and other recipes from the Bond movies, including Chef's Surprize. Happy Bond Day!

Speaking of Bears, I think this is the closest we could get to a Bond Bear!

Plan is to watch either FRWL or TLD for Global James Bond Day. My #2 and #3 Bond films, respectively.

Going to try to see if I can fit reading the book TSWLM since it falls on my off day, and that’s my next novel up in my marathon. Not watching any movies as I purposefully tested myself to go at least a whole year without doing it, and now just about 3 months away!

What does it take to change the essence of the pause between films.

A producing team that has some urgency to keep the series relevant. I am wondering if the Bond dies ending of NTTD has got them a little troubled on how to start things up again.

I laugh if that's the case as they let their star have his vanity ending and now it's painted them into a corner.

OR they are letting time pass so fully detach and reduce the questions that will inevitably come. "How is Bond alive when we last saw him die?" "When and where does this film pick up or start again?" "Is this another re-boot of the character and the film series?" etc.

I maintain, they shoulda let him literally drive into the sunset. He breaks the 4th wall and says at the camera; "Now I AM retired." You see his signature scrawl 'thanks for everything, Daniel' and the theme comes up. No, they had to whack him. I will never watch the last 25% of that movie again.

That said, could we maybe hope for a Nolan announcement? I am SO sick and tired of the endless period between these things with never a word from EON.

Yeah. I strongly believe it's the first two paragraphs. An ambiguous ending was still the best way to go. Directors like Campbell, Mendes and Nolan would have known what to do with that ending. Something more cerebral than visceral.

Better than nothing, or the reality show. To everyone here, thank you for reading my opinions. I know I can get silly at times, but I'm thankful that I can share this great character with you all. Here’s hoping for a great future of James Bond adventures! I also wrote to Kim Sherwood yesterday for her birthday, and she responded! Best thing about my James Bond day! We are blessed to have her writing, she's truly a Bond fan and a lovely person.

    -We need... time.
-But we're trying to reduce the time between films.
    -Then I don't know.
