Yes it's magnetized and you can activate the big tracker and it makes a beeping sound like in the movie.

They should design one where you can Bluetooth or wireless connect the tracker to your phone like the Tile key ring trackers.

What's the range of the key ring trackers ? Up to 250 ft ?
You can even activate (move) the small tracker. It's a cool prop.

Some I have looked at are roughly 60m though no doubt there are better ones with more advanced tech.

Those are good for keys and wallets as well.
I have seen some trackers that you can put in your car.

I can access my security cameras from hundreds of miles away on my phone so a similar tech would be good for the Bond tracker.

My watch is military grade and is connected 3 GPS satellites its amazing what tech is out there now, Bond either influenced a lot of tech or just mirrored tech that was hidden from us at the time. lol

Wasn't Live and Let Die never given the 'girls and guns' treatment, because there was a movie tie-in paperback in print at the same time?
I think there's a 76% chance I'm miss-remembering this, so be kind when you put me right.

Just found this set for £0.75 in a charity shop, I ended up giving them addtional money, it makes a nice display item with my other Bond novel boxset.

Did you know that there was only ever one gun used in the 'Girls and Guns' covers? It was painted different each side and used at different angles.
Well, that's what someone told me.

Looking at the art work it becomes apparent though they did move the gun around to give it a different look each time.

I will have to dig out my LALD — I am not sure it is the golden gun on that one.

There are only 4 books in the mini boxset I bought FRWL, GF, OHMSS and TMWTGG.

Mine wasn’t in a box set, but it’s the same run for sure, girl, gun, fonts used, the lot, and it was second hand from a library when I was twelve. Think it cost me 12p. Don’t know how to add photos, but will dig it out at some point.

    Edit:
This one on abebooks is the same

My new custom steel arrived yesterday and this morning I received a personally dedicated paperback copy of Beauty of Bond from the man himself.

For few years,, I wondered what became of two of my most prized possessions, that is the press dossiers for OP and TLD. I couldn't find them anywhere in my small two rooms flat, and I was wondering if maybe they had been stolen, just like a few of my DVDs, during my moving from my old place to this one, or anytime since. Then, I decided to declutter the small cubicle that they call my cellar, and try to see if they might be in one of my boxes there. Well, I found them ! So, I took them, and now, they are in a drawer, secure and ready to go out at a moment's notice. So, that's a story with a happy nding, and Heavens know I need some of that these days.

Just found these in a charity shop, I have had this compilation album previously on tape and vinyl but never on CD. I also have this version of the Lotus somewhere in storage though its larger.

I was just out walking and an Esprit drove past me... I'd trade my Bond collection for that guy's any day. ;)

Truly... they had one also at a local Lotus dealership but it's since been taken out of the window.

I remember seeing a Saab 900 Turbo several times near a local indoor market. Sadly I never got a photo of it as it was in the days before everyone had a smartphone in their pocket (around 2004 I think). I believe it may have belonged to one of the staff in the indoor market as it was always parked in the staff area at the back of the building. Perhaps not as impressive as seeing a Lotus Esprit but it was still nice for this John Gardner fanatic to see. :)

I had that set, but one of the things I had to let go as my collection of books/magazines was getting too bulky! Think I may have held on to a couple of issues! Must check when I get home from work!
