    The Acolyte episode 3, you can set stone on fire the end.

    Many are angry saying this is the worst thing ever in SW, I am not that bothered as I checked out of Disney SW a while ago.

    I see Lucas SW and Disney SW as separate entity's.

    Just watched the ending again :)) wow this is so bad.

    SW lore flushed down the toilet.

    This is still an average 3/5 show for me. I’m truly baffled over how exaggerated people are behaving over this. But I could tell even before a few days a lot of fans were setting themselves up to get upset over the implication that characters would use female pronouns over the force, but since that didn’t happen they looked for other targets.

    I was hoping that the show because of the time period could do some interesting story telling and even see Darth Plagueis in some form.

    The Acolyte is just nonsensical writing, the main antagonist motives are what exactly, it is clear from episode 3 they were evil from the start.

    To be honest most of the characters in the show are making questionable decisions, it is a bit of a mess, not sure I will bother with episode 4.

    I'm surprised people still hate-watch this franchise. That latest trilogy was enough for me to know I didn't need to bother watching any of these shows and spin-offs. It'll take a really good looking new film to get me interested again.

    Absolutely true.
    It's not the greatest show in the world but it's not terrible so far; it's just an adventure show. But all of the scum on YouTube obsessing about women and POC need to make their money, and actually cloud any more sensible debate about any actual storytelling issues these shows have.

    Right, there are problems with the show, but it has nothing to do with “wokeness”, that’s all just a distraction because it’s what generates clicks. Sadly, a YouTuber sticking to the fundamentals of storytelling criticism isn’t going to get as many clicks as “DISNEY HATES WHITE MALES”.

    I wasn't massively keen on ep.3- flashback episodes feel like you're running on the spot to some extent. And the Jedi did seem really creepy in it to me- I'm unsure if we're supposed to be liking them or not; the show doesn't seem very critical of them. But the situation as presented was almost too alien to be relatable: there's a police force made of sinister and boring heavily-armed Vulcans who have the right to take away children (?) and stop children from being trained elsewhere for some reason, and this little girl wants to be one and is happy never seeing her mum again. Eh? It's just too contrary to how children and people in general act, and morally it seems all over the place to the extent I don't know who's supposed to be good. Presumably intentionally as I guess we're thinking that the Jedi killed all of those people.
    As long as I don't think about it it's watchable as an adventure, but I don't feel like they've worked out how they want me to be feeling.

    I feel this series would have benefitted if the episodes were released at once. The slow-rolling mystery is not very interesting. Pretty poor 3rd episode I thought.

    I suspect there will be a second flashback episode where
    the Jedi slaughter the Witches. The main villain will be the Darth Maul looking mother.

    The Acolyte episode 4, the best episode as the money is on the screen, visually stunning. The script is terrible what a waste.

    I will watch this episode again because that planet looks amazing.

    This is a great documentary on Star Wars, part 1

    Marcia Lucas had a lot of ideas into the making of the first 3 films.

    There's also a James Bond Icons Unearthed ,6 parts which is also great.

    Marcia Lucas and Gary Kurtz helped make Star Wars great. The quality of the series dropped off a bit when they left. They weren't afraid to tell George Lucas no, and take risks more often than not. But I'm generally happy and understand that the background crews change from generation to generation.

    Yes SW was a true collaborative effort. The right people came together to make something for everyone. Yes, the sound and music are just as much of the characters as the actual characters in the stories. Not just in Star Wars.

    It sure was a team effort, like most films i would guess.

    The documentary (6 episodes) covers just about everything good and bad that went on during the making of the first 6 films.

    The Acolyte episode 5, the plus point is something happened, X23 was the highlight of the sabre battles as it was getting tedious until she showed up.
    Sol not knowing which sister it was at the end is stupid writing considering everything we know about Sol.

    A convoluted script that is nonsense for the most part is ruining the show, the story is pretty simple and straight forward it should not be that difficult to write.
    Last weeks episode was telegraphing who the villain was so blatantly that surely it was a red herring, no it was just bad writing.

    The villain was decent enough to be fair when revealed.

    Clearly the best episode of the show, and that actor playing the Sith Lord is pretty damn good.

    Why not? Sith don’t follow rules. Even their supposed “rule of two” had gone out the window several times.

    After a second viewing despite plot holes galore this is some of the better sabre fights and Villain from live action Disney Star Wars, the sabre fights in the sequel trilogy were not great, The Acolyte fight's were better.
    I like the fact people actually die when murdered by a light sabre.

    Watched The Acolyte Finale, hands down the worst written TV show I have ever seen.
