    That was fun, @mtm.

Just came across this inspired track. Could be good for product placement as well.

    Share James Bond-Inspired Single “Cookie
    Crumbles”

“This is what James Bond would sound like if 007 was an African secret
agent" — Don Julio Bats (BGC Melody founder)
    https://www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/bestnewmusic/view/318662/
Elaborating further, Don Julio Bats says, “This is what James Bond would sound like if 007 was an African secret agent. I asked my beatmaker to produce me beats that fused a James Bond-type theme with modern African beats. Our goal was to deliver what it would sound like if the James Bond franchise ever reached out to us to deliver a song for one of their productions. And yes, I personally wanted Idris Elba to hear the song and say to himself: ‘I can be James Bond 007!’”
“Cookie Crumbles” is available to buy/stream now on all platforms:

This just released TODAY on their new album. Depeche Mode is still my top artist choice for next Bond theme. Their song “Heaven” also is quite Bond-ish.

Tom Jones & The Divine Comedy- All Mine.

This is far better than many of the recent Bond Title Songs, Tom should have done another Bond movie with his vocals.

Maybe we can make our own?

I've tried using Suno, song-generating AI software- I gave it the prompt of an upbeat brassy Bond theme and it gave me 'Diamonds and Danger' :D

😂 @mtm sounds like the theme song to a 90s tv cartoon!

New one from Beth Gibbons (Portishead) - actually new album released last Friday. This is 'Reaching Out', which has an urgency to it and sounds like a Bond theme mixed with the M:I theme. I can imagine something like this moving through iconic imagery on screen. Regarding the chorus: maybe it's the world crying out for help and Bond has to save it. It's a bit sly or sneaky sounding too, naturally a good fit for a spy film...

I got home from work and turned the radio on just to hear the end of this song. Sounds effortlessly Bond and more 'official'/less tribute-like than some of the recent Bond themes. It's brief and to the point.

I think this is easily one of the best Bond theme tunes that never was.

The Smiths - Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me

Imagine this over the opening titles!
    :)

It especially works if you picture Fassbender as Bond (as per Fincher's The Killer) :)

Yeah. It's no surprise Johnny Marr later did Bond. The Smiths are possibly the most guitar-driven rock band ever and one of my favorite rock bands.

I heard this by Lady Blackbird on the radio earlier and could imagine it over some Kleinman dancing ladies quite easily.

I just looked into her a bit, here she is (under her real name) banging out a familiar tune rather superbly:

Haha! It confirms the previous song was not a coincidence.

Yeah I think she's got her eye on the prize there! :D If she takes off they could certainly do a lot worse.

Eva Almer who had previously sung the very Bondian Forever years ago, did this very Bondian song and title as well.

Although it doesn't sound like an established James Bond theme this is exactly the type of Bond sound I'd love to hear in Bond 26. The fact it's from 1988... who cares! 😉

Such a cool sound. 😎 Hopefully we'll get something more like this than yet another ballad.

Living in a Box definitely had that Dalton-era Bond style. I believe Maryam d'Abo was even in one of their music videos.
