before the news broke I had already made a free transfer... is it worth me transfering VVD or Salah for a week?

Didn't see this before now. Did you make any additional transfers, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns?

Ben Crellin wrote about when a double gameweek is likely to happen for Liverpool and Everton. Might be worth to plan transfers accordingly.

Here are the gameweek 15 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 7
    Palmer: 4
    De Bruyne: 1
    B. Fernandes: 1
    Mitoma: 1
    Maddison: 1
    Saka: 1
    Haaland: 1

Seven managers have looked to Salah for the captaincy, unaware maybe that the game was cancelled close to the deadline. They must hope for bench cover and vice captaincy points now that Liverpool and Everton won't be playing this gameweek. The only other player backed by more than one manager is Palmer, captained by four managers. Good luck everyone!

I used the free hit with kdb as captain.

    What about yourself ?

Interesting differential, KDB! Went with Palmer for the captaincy myself. He seemed like the best option for the way my team is set up right now. I also did Strand Larsen out for Isak; this put me at disadvantage as far as funds goes, but I might take a hit next week to restructure a bit.

I made no additional transfers not worth the risk for a hit when bench players should be ok this GW.

That sounds like a good decision. I could have taken a hit too, but I decided against it, simply because I didn't fancy any of the fixtures for the players I considered for this gameweek.

The storm is pretty bad here so no guarantee other games wont be cancelled tomorrow.

Mazraoui not starting so thats another player i have lost.

Tough game at home vs Forest I think we might lose this one, rain looks very heavy too.

Forest hit the bar, United are terrible at defending set pieces.

Sloppy back pass from Bruno, Onana really should have saved that. 1 - 2 Forest.

United are in trouble if they don't start making better decisions.

    OMG 1 - 3 Forest.

Onana has done well this season though today is having a howler, this is not good we could get a battering here.

Something to keep an eye on. If more games are cancelled we might see some good double gameweek opportunities soon.

OMG what is Onana playing at with that free kick cost us precious seconds.

This ;loss is on the player really sloppy moments cost us, credit to Forest.

Didn't watch the game and just saw the Onana situation. I just can't understand what he was thinking there?! The ball was perfectly placed and he could have just played it straight up field, giving his teammates precious seconds to build another attack against the Forest box…

Smashed windows several leaks and lucky there were not more windows wrecked, the shear force of the wind was unreal.

Worst GW of the season so far, arsenal drawing a missed opportunity though not seen highlight.

Oh my, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns! I hope the insurance take most of the cost of the damage caused by the storm…

We had a storm in my hometown too, last winter. I couldn't sleep that night because I have my car parked in the street, and there's no shelter for loose objects being taken by the wind. A trampoline that wasn't taken down blew into the wall of the garage of my first floor neighbours, but luckily it didn't cause any damage.

Really bad game by Arsenal today. It looked like they weren't up for keeping up with Liverpool in the title race. They created nothing, and Gabriel missing the game just shows how weak they are when a regular starter isn't part of the team…

Storm is still here though not as aggressive thankfully, it is stressful when you are powerless to do anything to stop it, nature is unforgiving at times. Luckily i had some empty boxes that i used to cover the window and a whole lot of guerilla tape which is really good in an emergency and heavy objects propping stuff up to counter the force of the wind, you always act quick in those situations. lol

That was lucky the trampoline would have made a mess of your car, you hope items are tied down or stored away when bad weather is on its way. Tying things down does not always work admittedly..

With Liverpool playing there was an opportunity though Fulham away is not an easy game to be fir.

Spurs scored twice in first minute wow.

Two of my players got assists.

    Sancho just scored.

This could be a goal fest, i have 4 players in this game i need some points from Palmer and Jackson now.

It's smart to have some tools and gear that can make for makeshift solutions when things like this happens. This is a reminder that I will have to get some more things like that myself; the only thing I'm well stocked with now, is batteries and LED block candles which are handy should the power go out.

Luckily the trampoline stood in a garden close to the house my apartment is located, but on the other side of the house – away from the street I park my car. There were bins and other objects lying in the street not that far from my car, but I was lucky with the wind direction. So was my neighbour in the next building, who also parks in the street. He drives a Porsche…

The windspeed in your area must have been off the charts to smash your windows....

Palmer was off the charts too........... 🔥

It launched several projectiles from another building at my windows. I live on the coast we often get storms though not like this one. Prior to the storm the news reported it will be one of the worst storms in decades.

Palmer totally saved my GW as captain, missed the second half fell asleep though caught the highlights

Glad I kept Mbeumo some YT managers were saying to sell though I kept him and Johnson, both players I did consider selling.

I hope Cunha can do something tonight, since I brought him in he has done nothing.

The boxes I used were shear luck as just bought a new large bin I was going to throw it out the boxes day before lol the one advantage of having too much stuff is you can repurpose most items for other practical uses. I have ton's of rolls of Guerilla and Duck tape it is a fix for most thinng's.

Man City's hearing over 115 charges has CONCLUDED – with verdict on Premier League champions’ top-flight status imminent following financial rules breaches

City's hearing may be over but the bad news is that the saga is still set to drag on for months.
Reports suggest that an outcome will be revealed in February 2025, with the three-man panel taking their time to work through the evidence presented over the last few weeks. By the time the verdict is revealed it may have been two years since the charges were first brought to City.
