Oh my, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns! I hope the insurance take most of the cost of the damage caused by the storm…

We had a storm in my hometown too, last winter. I couldn't sleep that night because I have my car parked in the street, and there's no shelter for loose objects being taken by the wind. A trampoline that wasn't taken down blew into the wall of the garage of my first floor neighbours, but luckily it didn't cause any damage.

Really bad game by Arsenal today. It looked like they weren't up for keeping up with Liverpool in the title race. They created nothing, and Gabriel missing the game just shows how weak they are when a regular starter isn't part of the team…

Storm is still here though not as aggressive thankfully, it is stressful when you are powerless to do anything to stop it, nature is unforgiving at times. Luckily i had some empty boxes that i used to cover the window and a whole lot of guerilla tape which is really good in an emergency and heavy objects propping stuff up to counter the force of the wind, you always act quick in those situations. lol

That was lucky the trampoline would have made a mess of your car, you hope items are tied down or stored away when bad weather is on its way. Tying things down does not always work admittedly..

With Liverpool playing there was an opportunity though Fulham away is not an easy game to be fir.

It's smart to have some tools and gear that can make for makeshift solutions when things like this happens. This is a reminder that I will have to get some more things like that myself; the only thing I'm well stocked with now, is batteries and LED block candles which are handy should the power go out.

Luckily the trampoline stood in a garden close to the house my apartment is located, but on the other side of the house – away from the street I park my car. There were bins and other objects lying in the street not that far from my car, but I was lucky with the wind direction. So was my neighbour in the next building, who also parks in the street. He drives a Porsche…

The boxes I used were shear luck as just bought a new large bin I was going to throw it out the boxes day before lol the one advantage of having too much stuff is you can repurpose most items for other practical uses. I have ton's of rolls of Guerilla and Duck tape it is a fix for most thinng's.

Bought some tape two days ago in preparation to pack some Christmas gifts to send in the post to relatives. Not Duct tape quality, but it's better than nothing! I have some boxes in the attic, mostly because I've been to lazy to get rid of it all, but it doesn't hurt to have some boxes around – if only to pack and store things in. I only hope I won't need them for the purposes you've used your boxes for!

Had a major clear out this week, gave away most of my antiques and collectables though kept a few empty boxes just in case lol

Oh, it's still a bit of a mess. I haven't got everything sorted after the builders did their work, simply because I haven't had much free time. I will do what's left before and during Christmas, I think.

According to reports United have signed Paraguay wonder kid Diego Leon, for someone who is only 17 he is a unit looks very strong ridiculously quick.

I wonder if he will go into the first team immediately as we are in need of a left wing back, Shaw is too unreliable as cannot keep fit and is probably better as a CB now to be honest.

Don't they have to wait till Jan to sign him ?

He won't arrive until July according to another report i saw, so short term not any kind of solution to our problem position.

Two transfers for me (and a -4) minutes before the deadline. Mbuemo and Aït-Nouri to Enzo and Alexander-Arnold. Didn't have much time to think about my transfers, so I'm really taking a gamble here.

    _______

I had a busy end to the work week, so I will write a gameweek write-up once I get the chance!

    VVD out Saliba in
    Salah Captain

Here are the gameweek 16 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 8
    Palmer: 6
    Mitoma: 1
    B. Fernandes: 1
    Maddison: 1

It's a close race between Salah and Palmer for being the most captained player in our league this weekend, but Salah is the most popular choice, captained by eight managers to Palmer's six. No other player is captained by more than one manager.

It was close between Salah and Palmer for me. Went with Palmer in the end, but I think both are really good options this gameweek.

I had a hunch Salah would not do much today... he has an assist though now I need Palmer to deliver.

Arsenal messing up today by the looks of it, they should have gained ground today.

Arsenal failing when it matters the most. The story of every season, this. There's something wrong with the mentality; they don't have what it takes to ground out results.

Benching a Forest defender could be a mistake for me, for some reason I thought they were away to Villa.

Arsenal still have over a half a season to go though they need to cut out dropping points at crucial moments.

It's the Christmas period where Arsenal usually drops off. It's like the whole team just drop for 8/10 performances to 4/10 performances like a switch…

I'm really not sure what to expect from the Forest-Villa game. It can go either way, I think.

    Gvardiol scores from a corner.

    Poor defending from United there.

I don't care about FPL I put Amad on my bench, I though this a few weeks ago Amad could be our Salah.

It's hard to have any City players your FPL squad atm.

Southampton sack Martin after Spurs hammering

Wolves have sacked Gary O'Neil after defeat to Ipswich on Saturday - and are in talks with Vitor Pereira to replace him.

Still buzzing, thank you Amad I needed that.

I totally forgot Rashford and Garnacho were dropped from the entire squad.

Amorim is ruthless, so happy he won that game.
