I was given the largest bottle of Baileys I have seen for Christmas from a friend, I will have to make this last a while. Many many years ago i drank Baileys quite often which was not wise this drink has a lot of calories.

Once my wife bought Bailey's hot chocolate from M&S. You had to microwave the glasses. But she found out that it had pork gelatine in it. Being vegetarian, she asked me to have them instead. It was like drinking bacon. Absolutely vile.

Finished the Humbug. Might go dry tonight, spare my liver until Christmas.

Otherwise, I'm not sure about the seasonal Bucks Fizz my wife bought, with spices and I think blood orange. I might buy a prosecco just in case, if I have time.

Okay, didn't buy prosecco, I ran out of time. My wife will have the seasonal Bucks Fizz, with spices and blood oranges. I'll stick to beer I think.

Merry Christmas mate, and thanks for posting the link to the Theory11 playing card special edition set with pen - I finally purchased this one just now. Had been on a huge playing card buying binge the last couple months and this set is one of the last decks I 'need'.

    Oh, and happy birthday Grandad!

Thanks everyone! And I’m glad you picked one up QBranch!

Everyone’s drinks look fantastic, and that premade Vesper is very cool!

Will finish Roasted Nuts today. I have a few days to buy champagne. Went to Lidl yesterday, there was some on sale, but very cheap, even after discount, and I thought cheap champagne is headache inducing.

When the Vesper’s aren’t enough. Always go for fine Scotch.
Glenmorngie or Macallan’s are fine choices in my opinion.

For me, I drank (and will dring on january 1st) a Kir Breton. You do it by replacing the Crême de Cassis with Crême de Mûre and the champagne by cider (breton cider, of course). At least, that's how I do it. YMMV.

I rarely drink, but I make an exception during Christmas. These last few years I've started enjoying cognac, and I recently got a bottle of Solan V.S.O.P.

Solan Gundersen is a fictional character by the beloved Norwegian artist, author and humorist Kjell Aukrust, and Solan – a bird – has been portrayed drinking cognac in Aukrust's drawings (and on one occasion in one of the movies based on his characters). This cognac is obviously just a release in cooperation with the Aukrust estate, but it's quite nice.
