Some of the Pierciest Pierce too, with some classic chuckles to himself, one-hand-in-pocket clotheshorse posing, thoughtful middle-distance staring, even a trademark Brosnan mouth wipe in there. He's rocking out some of his classic moves.

I guess the BMW being very similar to his TND one (same wheels even) can't be a coincidence!

I know, right? I couldn't help but smile throughout; he's really bringing the "Pierce A-game" to the screen here!

I can't stop watching it, it's like a compact little espresso quick hit of all of the Pierciest mannerisms and empty aphorisms that someone would usually have to watch a whole PB movie to absorb. It's maximum strength Brosnan in a compact cup. I doubt I'll be able to sleep tonight.
    :))

That hits the spot, just the Brosnan you need to start your day full of energy.

That video is too perfect. It's Pierce at his most Pierce, and I'm loving it.

Dominic Ingle, the son of Brendan Ingle who Pierce is playing in the Naseem Hamed film, says that Brosnan visited the Ingle gym at Wincobank (about 2 miles from me!) earlier this year and told him that he'd met Brendan once when he went into the dressing room when Naz was fighting Kevin Kelley in New York. Naz told him that 'James Bond' was here, but Brendan looked at Pierce and went 'That's not James Bond - Sean Connery's James Bond!' It's one of many variants of a similar yarn and far too good to be true, but it's funny nonetheless - especially coming from Pierce himself.

Pierce Brosnan goes AWOL as an elderly soldier aims to be remembered before time runs out in The Last Rifleman trailer

Man, I don't know how I will react to Pierce's look in this, like he's now closer to how Fleming envision M in the books:

Not to get political, but he looks A LOT like Joe Biden in that picture. A good picture for the doppelgänger thread.

Brosnan is close to a deal to join Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren in Guy Ritchie's upcoming TV series The Associate:

    Guy Ritchie is a workaholic.

This is good for Brosnan. His style and charisma are more deserving than some of the films he's been doing recently. And Richie's films are usually ensembles, so he's not carrying the entire load. I expect him to shine in this film...

Yeah his output lately has been mostly horrendous, to say the least, so I'm glad he's joining some higher profile work now.

That makes a second must watch featuring Pierce, along with The Thursday Murder Club! I think he'll be a great fit for a Guy Ritchie series.

The Cliffhanger sequel is now a reboot and has cast Lily James and Pierce:

    Just saw this. Very bizarre.
  • I just want a theatrical release for a PB film. Last one I saw was Black Adam. He was good in a bang average film. I hope Stallone at least cameos in Cliffhanger redo.

Pierce has already finished filming his role in Cliffhanger, so he won't be in it for very long.

  • I don’t think this will be anywhere near as good as the original. John Lithgow stole that film. What a cast that was.
  • Come on Pierce. Get back to theatrical releases pleases. Been a long time since Black Adam.

I think Thursday Murder Club will be theatrical. And then it will circle around on various streaming services as filler forevermore.

I thought that was a Netflix production?

It is, I cant see Netflix doing much of a theatrical run for it, if at all.

Also I saw that Thomas Newman is doing the score for it, so another Bond connection.

Whyle late, but better late then never. ''Fast Charlie'' will be released in The Netherlands/Belgium by The Seachers on Bluray and DVD next month. Sometimes there be litle delays, but it something to looking forward for 2025 to buy. Expect audio will be English, French DTS-HD MA 5.1 with Dutch and French subs.

Fassbender's back all of a sudden, isn't he?

Slightly leaden trailer, amusingly full of non-English people playing English people ( :) ), but hopefully the film is better than it looks.

Unfortunately Black Bag is one of those 'Let's reveal most of the plot/very long in length' trailers. I felt like I'd watched the whole film by the end of it. ;))

Now this is a great teaser trailer...

Not a full trailer but really sets up the mood, hinting at the danger to come.

Imagine that Black Bag trailer shortened a bit with a bit more mystery. I think 1:30 is long enough for a full trailer. Maybe 1:45 max. But 2:45 is way too long. It's too revealing.

They released it in June? Mad.
  • I enjoyed The Foreigner. Pierce was good in it despite his accent not being that consistent.

Agreed. I always thought he was a bit lightweight as Bond, but he really nails the part in this. I actually forget its Pierce whenever i watch it, such is his transformation as a Jerry Adams type.
  • I think he improved as an actor towards the end of his tenure as Bond and onwards.
