  Pierce was sitting beside me tonight having dinner. He looked very well - clean shaven and with short hair. He was in very jovial form, from what I could hear. He is filming some Guy Ritchie ‘Irish gangster’ show for the next few months

  Pierce and Trantino. sounds interesting. And I'm definately on the 'foreigner' bandwagon, a film far better than it's beeing given credit for. Chan also shines. Both their acting is excellent.

  Maybe somebody already posted this somewhere. "SpyHards" podcast interview with Jeff Kleeman (new to me). From early Bond films, through why Pierce was chosen, his movies, about how Goldeneye developed (story, director, etc). He was with Barbara and Michael through many brainstorming sessions. I'm still listening, and I think this would be interesting to many of you. Maybe you are already familiar with this podcast (probably are), but I just found it.
  Here is their description of this episode

  In the UK Goldeneye was released November 1995 I vividly remember watching the film on release... You expecting someone else...

  I really enjoy DAD, there was a time when I let the prevailing dislike of it affect me- but last time I watched it I liked it as much as DAF. Brosnan rocks. He rocked much harder in TND, but the point is he always rocks. Yes, even in dreck like Taffin & Lawnmower Man... :D

  I don't know, maybe, I think things could just be aligning coincidentally at the moment. Mind you, knowing him, it may well be a of an attempt to put himself out there and try get it off the ground, he has done that sort of thing before. I feel like he hasn't appeared beard-less for a while.
  I'm curious to know why he was at Gaydon, can't just have been to have his photo taken, can it?
  
  And how did they manage to lose the original numberplates? :D

  Happy to be corrected but there is no official press release etc on Aston's website re PB's visit which sort of implies he just "dropped in" rather than some official, planned PR visit. Does anyone know if he is an official "brand rep" for Aston?

  I reckon it must have been planned if they had a photographer there and had wheeled his old car out for him, plus it appeared on Aston's social channels. It is curious isn't it.
  
  I think he certainly was an ambassador of some kind for Aston when he was 007 as they gave him a Vanquish which he used to drive around in, I'm sure he's mentioned that before. But I doubt he still is..?

  If you're head of PR at Aston and PB drops in for a cuppa, you roll out his old car in a flash and grap a photographer. If it was planned, what was the occasion? what specifically were they promoting? and no press release (always prepared in advance), no official rep from Aston to shake his hand/joint photo. (he clearly would have given permission for the photos to be used) Literally, getting back into the driver's seat :-)

  I too find it interesting, to say the least. Would he be there be a new ambassador to the brand? He never bought his Vanquish, it was given to him and burned in the Malibu fires, I think. But he did love it. BTW, it's good to see he kept his trademark style, suede brown blazer with black shirt and pants. Very Pierce. Those pics are so damn cool, aren't they?
