Um. Did they just nuke London in that trailer?

Also, they really should have done another pop song tie-in for the trailer cut. Would have been cool.

Apparently that entity casket is shown on the train in the last one with the baddie coming out of it, but I totally missed it.

Wonderful trailer as expected. Of all the little flashbacks I didn’t notice one for MI:2

I would lose it if Thandiwe Newton showed up

I'll lose it if they have slow motion Doves in the film...

The references and hints re Hunt's retirement are now so strong that it will be a bit silly if he does appear for another movie.....reboot incoming IMHO

I hope they have tightened up the plot for Part 2, as much as I enjoy(ed) Part 1, the more I rewatch it, the more its rickety plot reveals itself.

My concern is that they have a huge cast list and are adding even more people to it for this one, plus its supposed to wrap up Part 1 and provide a conclusion (of sorts) to the series. Maybe they will need a Part 3... The Absolutely Final Reckoning

I also hope not. I have a feeling we'll lose one of the regulars, but I'd like Ethan to survive. Give us a happy ending and a satisfying conclusion!

A Happy Ending ? Well, you'll have to pay extra for that and go to another room than everyone else...

I'm surprised la la land records hasn't announced when the soundtrack will be out? I'm guessing after?

Look like that the White Widow will be kild of whyle Luther sleaping in the hospital. It look like first thee tryde to hide Luther, but i thik there tryde to hide there be in a hospital with Luther having cranks.

I thaught that before that Hannah Waddingham (or Janet McTeer) playing her mother, so it also possible that it is one of two be in hospital. That wil made White Widow furious to Luther. Whyle i must say i consider that Janet McTeer chacter replacing Vanessa Redgrave from the first movie and playing Max. Mabey there is more then that White Widow / Max have a connection being weapons dealers as confirmd in Mi6. Because for a moment i believed that Ilsa Faust and White Widow be sisters or half sisters. Mabey Kittridge is father of both.

Hannah Waddingham, Janet McTeer and Vanessa Kirby look very simalar. The ''Vanessa'' connection between Redgrave and Kirby of course.

Hannah Waddingham. In the trailer i think she is the woman Ethun talking about Panicin.

Isn't that older blonde actress in a military uniform in the trailer? With her hair up in a military-style bun? I figured she was some member of the aircraft carrier crew.

Isn't it established "in universe" that Max is dead? In the big White Widow speech in Fallout, she refers to "my late mother" so unless it's a flashback I don't see Vanessa Redgrave being recast with another actress.

Astonishingly Final Reckoning is forecast to open to over 100 million on its opening weekend. The previous franchise high was fallout with 61 million. I suppose people are really looking forward to some adult-skewing action after several sparse months, and the mission films have built a strong brand appeal over the years. Its heavily suggested in the trailers that this could be ethan hunts final mission, and that could also be a factor in such impressive early projections.

Given it will be Labor Day weekend in the U.S. may give it a boost, but $100 million seems like a real stretch considering the previous film underperformed at the box office compared with Fallout. Lilo and Stitch will likely be the big draw and also depends on how big Marvel's Thunderbolts does.
