Another connection. Gemita Samara, who is Lea Seydoux's stunt double in SPECTRE, was in GoT.

Gemita is younger than I am, and she has already starred in my favorite television AND film series. I'm sitting on a couch doing neither of those things.

She's going to be in a later episode this season, looking forward to her role. Good eye on that, too, I never would've put that connection together!

I think Jonathan Pryce and Diana Rigg does a really good job in their roles in GoT

I laughed really, really hard at Rigg's line in this last episode about smelling the feces miles out of the city, in the scene where she is heading back to King's Landing for the trial of Ser Loras. She really is still rocking it after all these years, doing a phenomenal job in her role as Olenna.

Yeah something about smelling it for 5 miles. Her scenes with Heady we're entertaingly bitchy.

I wouldn't mess with her. Cersei bit more than she could chew on that one. I cannot wait to see how Olenna will retaliate. She is both resourceful and ruthless, and yet amiable.

Back on topic, it seems that people go from Bond movies to Game of Thrones, generally. I have been hoping to see some faces from the TV series into Bond movies.

The look between Olenna and Cersei once the latter locks up Margaery and Loras was intense.

As for that point, @Tuulia, I've been waiting to see the same thing from both SF and now SP. Really, it's only a matter of time before that happens, I'm sure.

Catelyn Starks brother shared James Bond's holiday plans with M in Casino Royal :)

Tobias Menzies (who plays Edmure Tully In GoT) played Villiers.
    Now he's starring in Outlander.

Credit goes to SirHillaryBray, who mentioned her role in GoT in Production Timeline.

As I mentioned in the first post. Would love to see him again. Both as Villiers and as Edmure.

Joanathan Pryce was amazing last episode. Not only was he softly menacing, but he also got the better of Cersei. At last! At last she is getting what she deserves.

Yeah he stuck it to both Cersei and Lady Tyrell. Now, I'm going to rewatch the Tyene Sand prison seduction scene.

I really enjoy this show. The only bit that turned me off was the Jon Snow/ Ygritte stuff in Season 3. I just couldn't get into that. The rest is great and I loved Season 4 (which is the last one I've seen).

You were cool with Reek n' Ramsey playing 50 Shades ad nauseum, but the Jon Snow / Ygritte stuff turned you off? ;)

Thanks for reminding me about those two! I saw it about a year and a half ago so forgot about that. They were really annoying too. apart from that, great show and highly recommended. I'm nitpicking anyway..

Yes, I know. There are little things here and there I would've done differently, but by and large Game of Thrones is some tremendous television.

Also really digging Jonathan Pryce this season like so many others.

they were meant to be annoying though.

Not a Game of Thrones connection, but I thought some GoT-fans would enjoy this

If any GoT fans exist that DON'T like spoilers, be wary as you search around on the Internet, I've seen a few articles posted containing possible spoilers for season five and the upcoming season six (perhaps not spoilers, but they are casting confirmations that reveal possible happenings in the world of Westeros and beyond.)

    Very funny.

Rewatching some of the scenes with Jonathan Pryce, especially the confrontation with Cersei, I wonder what could have been back in 1997. TND would be fairly low in my ranking if I was to make rankings and I never thought Elliot Carver was menacing enough. Although I enjoyed Pryce's performance enough, I never liked the way Carver was written. I know they are two different characters from two different universe and GofT is not nearly as manichean as James Bond, but nevertheless, the High Sparrow's puritanism and moral absolutism, especially regarding truth, could have fitted a character like Elliot Carver.

Anyway, Jonathan Pryce is a delight to watch and my favourite actor/character this season. In season 1 it was Sean Bean, in season 2 and others it was Charles Dance, so I guess I'm a Bond fan even when I watch TV.

Patrick Malahide played Lord Greyjoy, as well as Lachaise in TWINE.

It would be fun to put together a definitive list of crossover actors.

I thought an update was in order. For those who watch Season 6, I'm sure you've noticed Herr Blofeld has found a new employment as the Three Eyed Raven. It's great to see that Max Von Sydow is still at the top of his game !

I tried to do a complete list of former Bond actors in the serie. Please let me know if I forgot anyone !

Ramsay Bolton needs to die a slow and painful episode-length death. What a bastard-guy.

My thoughts after his recent acts, Ramsey more dislikeable than Geoffrey.

My buddy proposed the question of who is more evil, Ramsay or Joffrey, and everyone else I've asked has agreed that Ramsay most certainly takes the cake. I hope he gets a unique, long-lasting death.

Ramsey's own hounds will probably get him in some scenario, that would be fitting. Though they obey him as he is the Alpha, they will have to be very hungry or something else.

I don't want him getting a quick and easy death like his father got last week; that man needs to suffer. If anything, I see him making it through the rest of the season, just to bite it in battle (hopefully).

I keep looking at that list of GoT/Bond actors, and I feel like there's one I'm overlooking and can't come up with. Also just noticed those very cool Bond 'GoT' sigils at the bottom of that link.

@Creasy47 are you serious? Tommen in season 5 made me seriously regret not having Joffrey anymore. Sure he was a grade-A bastard, but Tommen is a few notches above on the annoying scale. Plus he had a sex scene with Natalie Dormer, which seals his fate for me: someone please chop his head off.

@DaltonCraig007, I feel bad because Tommen is the polar opposite idea of the type of king that King's Landing needs, and he had no say in the matter when it came to taking over in Joffrey's place, but he really is useless. He needs to wear that title with pride, take some men, and start slaughtering those fanatics to get his wife back.
