In fact, aside from that alternate ending, are there any deleted scenes we don't know about? I can't recall having ever seen any.
I wish they would go Star Trek The Motion Picture or Aliens and do a different cut of QOS altogether, different editing etc.
Just imagine how QOS could transform in one of the best Bond movies!
And I'm sure it is doable, there is just no interest sadly.
I just found this one also which I hadn't seen before.
Although with White back in SP maybe this alternate ending of QOS would be null and void. I'd still love to see it.
I liked the version they used in the film for the film. Was violent and a nice deserving end to Patrice
The trailer version worked well in the trailer.
That's just my opinion.
I've found this to be the best US tracking site for upcoming films. They were dead right on MI5 and Uncle, unlike other major US tracking sites. This is their first serious tracking for Spectre and I find it very good news. I never expected SP to do $1b, as I've just been hoping it comes near and clears its budget.
If this tracking holds, than SF was not a one off with SP going back to just above CR and QOS form which was my concern. This US projection appears to project something around $900m world wide, which would be great in my view. I have always thought $1b or more was too optimistic. China may be the wild card for $1b, but I'm not betting on it doing great SP BO.
This is probably the wrong thread re BO news, but good SP news is always good news. I'll post this in the BO thread also.
But how is this good news??
260 million for the US? Against over 304 that Skyfall did.
If I calculate the same loss for the rest of the world, Spectre will make short of 950 million.
Not that this is anything less than a financial success, but in the public's mind Spectre will be considered a flop if it doesn't reach the magical number of a billion.
Spectre should do 1.3 billion, I bloody well hope so.
I don't see this happening personally, but we should take it over to the box office thread..
Just did :D
The factual figures were much different @BondJasonBond006 & @Smitty. I usually don't throw too much with arguments that one writes as 'facts'. But it is different when 'facts' really are facts, as you can read down below in a previous post I made in the box office topic. Just take these dubious 'long range forecasts' with a grain of salt. Instead, I find this article a bit more credible: http://austinmarion.hubpages.com/hub/Spectra-Early-Box-Office-Projections. Anyway, don't worry @BondJasonBond006 ;-). Look at my prediction down below.....
And look how fff-ed up Mr White looks nowadays :-P. Something did go terribly wrong with the poor man :-P. We'll find out in 6 weeks time what happened to him the past 7 years since the events in "QOS".

Barbara Broccoli: "James Bond Daniel Craig IS End of discussion."
We posed the question of Recasting the high priestess of the saga. The answer is clear.
Every week, bookmakers scariest casting directors and fans by announcing 007 new potential candidates to take over the role of James Bond. Idris Elba would be the first black Bond or Damian Lewis, and if it was Tom Hardy ... Yet among gatekeepers, the question does not arise. But absolutely not. Daniel Craig has not finished with the character. Yet we asked Barbara Broccoli, producer of the saga. The answer is final. >>> Idris Elba "too street" to play James Bond >>> And if Tom Hardy became James Bond?
Let's talk about Daniel Craig. Nobody had expected such a performance in Casino Royale.
Barbara Broccoli: Nobody except us (laughs) We expected it. We knew he was going to convince the most skeptical. It is an extraordinary actor. All those who knew the films he had made before Bond should have noticed that when it seizes a role, it completely transforms and becomes the character. It is charismatic on screen, it is extraordinary. >>> All cults generic Bond
Think keep much longer?
(laughs) We hope so!
One can regularly read yet possible successors to the role of advertisements in newspapers. Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender ...
I know. The good side of his ads is that they show the commitment of the public and Bond character to the series, as to be invested in it. So they do all the time suggestions on casting. But in our case, Daniel IS James Bond. End of discussion! Until he himself decides otherwise, we are not, and I even absolutely not add, interested in the idea to consider anyone else in the role. Interview by David Fakrikian 007 Spectre of Sam Mendes with Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci was released in theaters on November 11:

BARBARA! I LOVE YOU! MARRY ME!
But in our case, Daniel IS James Bond. End of discussion! Until he himself decides otherwise, we are not, and I even absolutely not add, interested in the idea to consider anyone else in the role.
That says it all. Fans, the media and the average Joe can speculate and say what they want but tge producers take comfort in knowing Bond is a hot topic worth talking about by society and their decisions on hand eking their property and who Bond is is entirely their own.
Moreover, this makes it quite clear for me that Barbara and Michael are going to offer Daniel Craig shit loads of money to stay in the role.....similar to Connery and Moore. Daniel Craig is here to stay :-).
ditto. way to go Barbara!!!!!!
As if she could say anything different especially 2 months before a new Bond movie hits the theatre.
As if Craig could decide when to go, I almost had a laughing fit when reading that part.
So if Craig doesn't want to leave after Bond 25 and he wants to do Bond 26 in 2020, aged 52, of course BB will let him stay. Oh, and probably until he's walking with a crocked stick.
It will anyway end all speculations about EON promoting SPECTRE as "Craig's last" to have incredible buzz. Believe or not, some "expert" here claimed it would have been a genius move :)
