Could be a good opportunity to get some true to the comics casting, stories, and costumes. Or it could just be a big pile of crap.

Regardless, I don't think Marvel will give Fox the green light on this one.

    Jackman Open To "Deadpool" Cameo

    Jackman Open To "Deadpool" Cameo

Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine came together in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," though the film was not very well received. Now, Reynolds' character is getting his own spin-off movie opening early next year.

Out doing "Chappie" promotions, Jackman was asked by MTV UK about what he thinks of the new spin-off and whether he might make a cameo as his character in the film. Jackman confirms he's "open to that idea," and you can see his full answer below:]

So Deadpool is officially rated R and the PG13 nonsense was all a joke? Or is this rated R thing the April fools joke? As Le Chiffre said, "I'm a little confused."

Olivia Munn Cast As X-Men's Psylocke

By Garth Franklin Monday April 13th 2015 01:13PM

"Magic Mike," "The Newsroom" and "Mortdecai" actress Olivia Munn has joined the cast of Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse". Munn has signed on to play Betsy Braddock, a.k.a. Psylocke.

In the comics, Psylocke is a precognitive with telepathic powers, the ability to project her astral self, and the ability to project directed psionic energy.

Director Bryan Singer posted the news on Instagram minutes ago, check out the posting below. Shooting on 'Apocalypse' begins shortly in Montreal ahead of a May 2016 release.

Olivia Munn is American, but her chacter is English. Intresting is that Psylocke http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psylocke http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psylocke not only have same powers as the Professor, Jean Gray, Emma Frost and Kurtwagner, but she can something were Magneto wil not be happy with..

    Sugestion for future Wolverine:

Emmett J Scanlan can be option for younger/new Wolverine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emmett_J._Scanlan http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1631384/

Here's Jean & Jubilee goofing around behind the scenes:

And James McAvoy will be BALD this time!

I'm very excited that this takes place in the 80's. You know what that means?? For the first time ever, we might finally have COLORFUL COSTUMES in an X-Men movie!!

    tumblr_nisex4OYgi1sbbfwho4_1280.jpg

I'm left wondering about Hugh Jackman's involvement... he recently announced that 'Wolverine 3' will be his last appearance ever as the character, but it's unclear if Wolverine 3 comes after Apocalypse....
Personally I'd rather have him here with the characters I grew up with than in another solo Wolverine movie (didn't care much for either of those)

Fox Plans "X-Men" Spin-Off "New Mutants"

By Garth Franklin Wednesday May 13th 2015 12:28PM
Fox Plans "X-Men" Spin-Off "New Mutants"

20th Century Fox has closed a deal with "The Fault In Our Stars" director Josh Boone for "The New Mutants," a spin-off of its "X-Men" cinematic universe.

Boone will direct the project and co-write the script with Knate Gwaltney. Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner will produce. The comic series introduces a new crop of mutant characters born with special powers.

Kinberg says: "We’re so excited to explore this new part of the X-Men universe, and so excited to do it with Josh, who is uniquely suited to tell this story about young characters."

The project won't be done for sometime as Boone has been linked to both a reboot of Anne Rice's "The Vampire Chronicles" film series along with an adaptation of the Stephen King novel "The Stand".

Wait, Wolverine's not in this Goddamned movie!?! And I don't mean a cameo.

I think he might actually have a role, or at least a cameo:
In November, the newspaper Le Journal de Montreal said production of Apocalypse is returning to Montreal in January 2016 for reshoots with Jackman “on hand.”
In June, Heroic Hollywood picked up on an Instagram post from Brooklyn leather company KikaNY showing off a custom order for a “duffel backpack for Hugh Jackman” in the “new X-Men.”
