  Sort of screwing about with the textless title sequence video - replaced the typography with the ones used on the posters and of course put in the actual SPECTRE title treatment....

  I had to hold off on doing SP art for well over a year during the production for fear that I would stumble upon spoilers, but now I have the freedom of realizing a lot of the ideas that've been shuffling around in my head. This first round of art was inspired by what Mr. White says to Bond when they reunite. I had images of Bond strapped to a kite in my head, along with a minimalistic Blofeld with a blood red scar. I did three variants of the same poster, all with a common theme. I'd love to know everyone's thoughts.

  Nice! It reminds me of the mark of the Death Eaters that appears in the sky in the Harry Potter books and films. Very spooky, and there's a lot of similarities between Potter and Bond/SPECTRE and Voldemort if one is keen on looking.

  Actually, the company responsible for all the latest Bond posters is EMPIRE DESIGN (http://www.empiredesign.com/posters.php), with promotional photoshoots from Greg Williams (CR, QoS and SF) and Rankin (SP).

  I would have thought EON would have realised by now that it's probably time to hire new artists when amateurs can create superior artwork than the "professionals" who design the official artwork.

  The video above just proves how the soundtrack could've been very Bondian. But, instead Mr. Newman went to make it sound like any ordinary movie soundtrack.

  I'd quite like Bond posters to return to being created by artists like this. They should hire Jeff Marshall to do them. Alas, since the 90s all movie companies are content with their Photoshop creations. Although the composition here does remind me of the poster for M:I:RN.
